something funny just happened

hardspell posted a review of hd3870 HD performance
it beat the hell of out 8800gt and was performing pretty well on games
suddenly
they took out the review...

look at the crossfire scores...
and ure mobo proc scores..

something aint right.

theres like 200 points missing from ure proc again...
and ure sm3 scores also totally wrong
heck ure scores around the same as my cards at 860/2400

actually 100 points...
4ghz quad is around 6020-6060...

i tested the ram thingy for cpu score...
no diff
ram speed only influences the sm3/sm2 scores...

so something aint right...

anyway.. it still should wallop anything...
i havent found a game to bring this crossfire setup to its knees yet...
except crysis i cant us AA... which u can rectify..

decrease the LOD and put texture / minimap detail to high quality...

dude but try that bios..
so far that one seems for any 3870 no probs...
24/7 possible with the stock heatsink...
take of CCC for gods sake.. ure going to find a lot of time CCC causes the hanging etc...
also make sure u run the AI at low=standard under crossfire except for battlefield.

err ure running
16x on first card 4x on second card...which is y i think around 200-300 points missing from sm3..

but on x38 definately ure in the 20-21k...

go google dude or read the xtreamsystems forum thread on the HD3800.

its long but i am sure u will find some time to read it.

and 90 percent usually unstable as its equivalent to 40-50 percent of TAT.
or just run OCCt 30 minutes would do.

crossfire on a p35 Blitz pcie sig 1.1 with 8x PCie bandwidth??
and with the second pcie slot that doesnt conform even confirm to pcie sig 1.1 and has problems with pcie 2.0

all of that because of the Asus Crosslink tech..

i had my chance to get multiple of these cards wait

the GDDR4 version will be out..
and trust me .. that has a lot of difference in SM3 scores.
and it was the biggest advantage that 3870 had over 3850..

more versions are coming out..
one note also the current unlocked bios performance is less compared to the locked bios on the X2..so wait dude..

before u judge and dont take all reviews with face value especially when u dont know the hardware they are using.

it is a stupid review.
