why r u saying i shud be hitting 20k? 19k stock? hmm u sure bout that? coz i see in xs people with oced quad and stock cf got 18.5k.. ( i got 18.3k)

well the other reason i dun want to use the x38 is bcoz i dun have good ddr2 ram.. i only have one value ram and i think it gonna disappoint me haha..

i just wish i can find a good ddr3 mobo out there..

erm well i have only 1 complete rig and 1 laptop.. this rig is used for gaming, benching and doing work (mostly editting, n designing)

erm no 4ghz daily for me.. i had to run it at 1.7vcore (bios) to run benchmark at 4.01ghz and eventhough temp remains cool, around 35-43c idle and 50-55 load, but i dun dare to use such a high vcore .. running daily at 3.2ghz @ stock voltage..

btw thx for the info and suggestion.. i doubt i will notice myself bout the poor sm3 score..

accelero s1 !! yeah.. this cooling last time i never ever thinking to buy but then after seeing it performance on 8800gt and 3870, really eager to buy.. just too bad it's not available locally anymore

900 shudnt be a prob with stock cooler.. dun forget u can adjust the fanspeed using rivatuner.. at 875core, in CF mode, i manage to cool down my 1st slot 3870 from 61c to 39c by setting the fan speed to 90%

enuff the bs.. i have 8800gt and 3870.. in terms of speed during playing game, using fraps, 3870 has lower fps, but without fraps, i dun think i can notice it..

image quality, 3870 manage to produce sharper n brighter color, i dunno how to describe it, but those who manage to compare both, plz do so before jump into any conclusion that the difference is small..

the different is noticeable.. definitely.. i like playing games, i want to have as many fps i want, eventhough between 30fps and 34fps we human may not notice it.. but i absolutely like image quality on the 3870.. when i return coolice's 3870 last time, i felt disappointed with image quality on my 8800gt ..

so since i want both speed and quality, i bought 3870 crossfire.. nuff said..
both card got their own advantage.. it's u to decide which iis more important to u, speed or quality..

1gb 2900xt? if so might becoz of ur resolution and details.. where the higher memory start to show its advantage over lower memory...

for me i failed to compare with my previous 1gb 2900xt, coz quite some time edi.. but somehow when comparing with 8800gt, it's hard to notice the performance different, unless i open Fraps and see the FPS

x2 out meh? hmm since cheaper quad core penryn is yet to release, i'll just spend on the x2.. anyone wanna buy my 3870?
