You will be hardpressed to sell HD3870 as 2nd hand. Even though you used it for a day, you're still going to lose up to RM50 minimum...

I don't mind after all. And another thing, I wouldn't dump my card for sure .

waiting is pointless?
it depends imo.
example: yesterday you bought a 8800GTS 640mb at rm1400 but today you can get the 8800GT 512MB at rm950.
another one: yesterday you bought a e6850 at rm900, but today you can get the e8400 at rm750.

do you think it worths the wait?

If you have multiple computers, or a girlfriend to give to, that'll be a good investment.

I just grab what in front of my eyes which I'm afforable. I wouldn't go beyond my limit.

8800gts 320mb is rm200 more expensive than 8800gt woh.

unless the wait is about 1 to 2 months or longer, otherwise i'll just cross my fingers.
rm200 is a lot to me man, it performs better too.

Time is a money as well. I'll buy according to my needs and budget limit and always pick one which I felt it's valued, at least for me. For instance, I doesn't need to spend RM600 on the DFI board while I can just opt for Gigabyte at RM390. However, the DFI would satisfies me while the Gigabyte wouldn't.

Anyway, lets no go too far from the title. Everyone has their own view, thinking and preference. I can save RM50 if I waited for another 1 or 2 weeks to buy the HIS HD3870 IceQ 3 Turbo. Why wait while I can enjoy it earlier and which the "difference" wouldn't be too extreme.

it's 670mhz, that's weird.
default clockspeed is 777mhz or higher for all the 3870 out there.

PC Zone always have typo on their pricelist. This is not America. We can't hold them in court for typo if they refuse to sell it at the listed price.

Erm...best to get 600W+ for CF. Don't waste on Quad CF lah...
