QUOTE(mystvearn @ Aug 1 2024, 09:29 AM) Can anyone recommend a watch band (for galaxy watch 5 40 mm) which is: if u want light weight dont get ultra. it's way heavier compared to the galaxy 7.1. Lightweight 2. Suitable for exercise (easy to clean) 3. Easy to attach/detach if easy detach/attach strap, ultra has this mechanism. very easy at the press of a button to detach and install back. for clean their all about the same. but the ultra has better durability and is water resistant so least likely to get damaged. |

By the way any thoughts on this strap from shopee?
"Quick Fit Luxury Stainless Steel Strap for Samsung Watch 7 Ultra 47mm Business Metal Band for Galaxy 7 47mm Curved End Bracelet" about Rm70 is it worth or not? or is there better suggestions for this? If you bump up your budget to 120+ you can probably get titanium band of roughly similar design. What grade titanium, is it even real titanium, no idea https://www.livemint.com/companies/news/fak...8431426078.html sus This post has been edited by Moogle Stiltzkin: Aug 1 2024, 12:15 PM |

just got my watch delivered on 1st august. pretty good hm out the box i see that it had about 88% charge already this helped me set it up did some preliminary test, my resting heart beat not good QUOTE A resting heart rate of 75-bpm (which is considered normal by the UK NHS) was shown to double the risk of early death. Men whose heart rate increased during their 50s were also more likely to develop heart disease in their 60s. so basically it's my own personal death note » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « *update for me, i was sitting too long, the watch alerted me of my inactivity and suggested i do some exercise and gave me some suggestions. So i selected squats, then it counted along while i did the activity. I am really glad i got this watch. It's like my personal trainer/reminder for when i am not mindful to avoid being sedentary. I am not sure if the galaxy 7 can also do this. But this was one feature i wanted so i went with ultra assuming it only had this for body fat composition, i think it's accurate so far the only thing it didn't let me measure was the ECG. You need to calibrate with the other necessary hardware to get the values. You can buy this required device from shopee if you want it's not too expensive. And some of them requires more data. Sleep, energy, health profile (which animal type r u xd) etc. I must say that the default wrist band is very comfortable. I was worried what to expect but it's good (for me at least). By the way did you know the metalic part of the band is titanium? Also some people were saying the strap was too long. But for me it was just right. There was hardly much excess. I didn't have to double tuck or anything like that. Does the ultra come in small size? or large size? Whatever it is, it fit really well for me. i never touched the old galaxy watch with rotating bezel, but lookin at the videos i get why some would like that. But my experience with this screen rotating bezel was ok. Even if you hated it, you aren't forced to use it. You can go to the settings and disable it, but really you don't even need to do that. You can simply manually next/next swipe without even doing the rotating swipe. So really it's not that big a deal (at least for me). I use it now and then if not all the time. *update for battery you can opt for disable aod off. but i kept it on. There is also a setting for lift wrist to wake, or click screen to wake. From my observation, when i am typing keyboard, the AOD is in some sort of lower setting mode because the colors and brightness adjust to use less power. But the moment i turn my wrist to look at watch, it auto cranks up the brightness and changes the color back to default. So i'm happy with the default setting to let it wake/sleep as is. Though i am not sure how this would work during sleep. I am assuming if you have sleep mode, it should know not to go crazy on battery when you are moving in your sleep, i would assume. No idea, will have to see. This post has been edited by Moogle Stiltzkin: Aug 1 2024, 04:28 PM alijoe liked this post
