Hey guys about the crashing prob and lost of checkpoints I have a good solution here.

For crashing issue, 1st u need to turn off the full screen. Get into the game.... play for a while and when the error prob occur. Just Alt-Tab it and go back to game. DO NOT CLICK ON THE ERROR BOX. Then u can restore back to full screen and enjoy the game!

As for the lost of checkpoints (I must say this is f***ing frustrating), If it happens that u loss your checkpoints... There's 1 folder in GOW which contained all the checkpoints file... can't remember the name but the filename in it are like Chapter0.sav, Chapter1.sav etc. Now, if the last time u play were in 3rd act (for instance Chapter 30).

1. First, copy both Chaper0.sav and Chapter30.sav into a folder for backup.
2. Delete the original Chapter0.sav and rename the Chaper30.sav into Chapter0.sav.
3. Now get into the game again, dun choose continue campaign or start new game. Pick the 3rd choice (can't remember again ). Choose act 1, straight away it will lead u into Chaper 30. For sure u won't know which chaper u ended in so u might need to try a couple times to load the correct chaper.

Remember, no matter what u do, u will loss watever weapon u've pick up and started back with some default weapon. The tag will loss too, but who gives a damn about tat.....

Still, sometimes I still would lag out or my motinor screen will turn into safe mode for no reason. Well... playing a good game does require sacrifice.

aiyaaaaaaaaaa...all these issues really potong stim ler...i just got my ori copy somemore.... haih.

@rhliau : What if there's no error box at all ? Just crashed to desktop...

Is the on9 play stable?cuz i plan to get the ori for this 1.....are they dedicated servers for us? whats ur(on9 players) average ping?

Its not a widespread fix and it might work for some and not for others. However, it's still probably a best bet till Epic actually releases a patch to fix things up.

no malaysian hamachi server?

just got my copy this evening..playing now no problem yet.but sometimes the screen stuck for about 1-2 second.how to play with other ppl?

Ori or sparrow?

Mai gawd..playing the game at Hardcore mode really extend the gameplay time @_@

Gotta take loads of cover and killing the grubs are much tougher..I can't imagine on insane mode..probably need to co-op for insane mode @_@

Guyz..just tried the multiplayer..ITS FREAKING AWESOME!! never get bored when playing it...

Co-op is a lot of fun when u play with your friend..and you never get bored playing over and over again because you can unlock achievement...

Sorry, no idea about that.... I went to forum to check and lots of US players were really pissed by these issues. Many wanted refund cause a patch had yet to released. Tell me, have u ever played a game which does not allow manual save??? Or have u ever encounter games which your saved file can lost??? Why do they need this Window Live??? Just can't imagine this actually happened on a great game...

Yeah, very frustrating actually.
The crashes itself is very annoying lol. (Asking for a friend actually)
He just opens the game and it crashes automatically. =/
Even when i want to have different save files just to play with other friends in coop.

At first i was playing hardcore all alone lol.
Actually, i didn't even try casual yet lol.
