wow new thread...nice~ Northasian, wanna ask u do u know where is famous for steamboat(da bin lou)in hk island? and what is the price like?
thanks in advance smile.gif
*
If famous ne... is the Little Sheep loh.. 小肥羊. There are 4 branches in HK, on HK Island is the Causeway Bay Branch, location : 铜锣湾骆克道463-483号铜锣湾广场二期2字楼 (2F, Causeway Bay Plaza 2, 463-483 Lockhard Road, Causeway Bay)
Tel: 00852-28938318, 28916776

http://www.xfy.cn/ctcx_ctcx.asp

The price is quite expensive I think...

If not so famous one, can try 稻香 Chinese restaurant. I use to go this restaurant group for da bin lou. To find the nearest branch, you can search from their homepage : http://www.taoheung.com.hk The price is moderate la... The cheap cheap one mostly located in rural residential area...

Thanks for your sharing again~~

The 1st pic is the Canton Road in Tsim Sha Tsui~~ The building on the right hand side is Harbour City, a few steps backward (which is not included in the pic) is the China HongKong City, where the ferry from Macau arrives! All arriving HK by ferry from Macau can take this pic as a reference... wink.gif

Just heard from my mum that when my Singaporean relatives came to HK and dropped by Shenzhen, they applied the visa thru China Travel Service branches in HK. Check it out here : http://www.ctshk.com/english/useful/chinesevisa.htm

my family planning to go DisneylandHK. fun or not arh there?
*
With family, Disneyland could be a nice place. Ocean Park is more on the rides, so it would be more suitable for the young. As Jimmy suggest, take the map at the entrance, and plan the time for your favourite shows and parade. Remember, take the express ticket for some popular rides to avoid long queue if you're going on weekends...

i will be giong to macau, shen Zhen,Guang Zhou also....
please let me know or recommend what i should buy at Hong Kong...souvenirs,clothes,shoes...etc....
*
Clothes & shoes can buy in Shenzhen & Guangzhou which could be cheaper, unless you're looking for branded one, e.g. Esprit or G2000. Souvenirs in HK, can buy some Wife Cake from Kee Wah Bakery...

. . . mellow.gif

Actually ne......... HK Disneyland is not as big as those in USA... you know, on quiet weekdays you can even finish all the park's rides in 2-3 hours..... doh.gif tongue.gif

So, if you really wanna stay in their hotel, 1 nite is already enough..
