but if i buy too many also not really practical for me cos i don't really travel much for now.. yes northasian.. my bf will voluntarily buy clothes which he thinks is nice on me.. but he will be reluctant to buy if he thinks it doesn't suit me.. my bf and i haven't reached the big 2-1 yrs of age yet and i'm glad that we are able to make it for this trip.. we haven't learnt how to earn a penny yet but spending already..that's bad ler..so gotta save..can't really spend much cos we are not working yet... but accommodation and food i think we don't really have to spend much on since his relative is there... but 2 weeks there will make me go broke easily..!  cry.gif

megatron007 you are a girl or boy?  unsure.gif

when u going to hk? going with who?
*
If still studying then better save.. as I said, long sleeves tee plus a normal jacket like fleeze or windbreaker is ok, which you buy and can wear in M'sia if air-con too cold in indoor ma, it's not gonna be wasted, right?

1 more thing, if you buy in Shenzhen, please do bargain the price AT LEAST HALF of it on the 1st go!! Stick to your price, don't "soft heart"!! If they don't agree your price, leave right away until they ask you back with the price you ask for, ok? This is what my colleague taught me, haha..

i'm afraid if i bargain they will scold me...cos no offense i've been to hk and shenzhen before.. and the sales persons there are really rude...just see only and dont buy they will say or scold you...isn't it true?
*
I don't know Shenzhen 'coz I haven't really been there before.. but you must bargain 'coz they overprice very much one. They scold then just leave lor, their rude is their culture..

But for HK, I can tell the price in Lady street, Temple street will be overpriced to tourists. Choose to buy in those stalls with fixed price written publicly lor.. if not, gotta bargain but don't cut too much la..

TST has any outlet?

price range for :

有骨氣
小肥羊
稻香
*
有骨氣 - TST has,
http://www.yaugwathei.com/

小肥羊 - Mongkok has,
http://www.xfy.cn

稻香 - everywhere,
http://www.taoheung.com.hk

Amongst them, taoheung is cheaper I think.

CX strike result will be known on this Thursday... check it out:

my bf is confined to working hours, so if want him finish work, go home rest, then come out again, i feel bad oh. maybe will go by ourselves and meet him later. will arrange. smile.gif

i'm talking HK Express leh... not Cathay...
*
oh yea.. I typed it wrongly.. tongue.gif I know it's RM but don't know why typed HKD... doh.gif

ic.. I bet HK Express won't call you beforehand for flight delay.. such a low cost carrier won't have reservations office in every ports.. so you will only know the flight is delay when you get to the airport~ believe me.. just have your bf drive you to the airport as schedule la~! icon_rolleyes.gif

no rain, but don't know tomorrow, please check forecast.

Not advise you to do so, 'coz 1. not match the seasonal look 2. quite cold at nite. Now you can only see those "c-nai" wear sandal when go downstairs buy vegetables... biggrin.gif

but that day you guys said the sky sad sad like that wor? sure? unsure.gif

Yep, I also heard radio that it would rain tomorrow or the day after.. but won't be heavy rain in winter, just some sleet or drizzle, but it means the weather will turn cold after the rain. Bring jacket, remember!!

FYI, now it's super sunny and warm outside!! But the northern cold air will shift down in these days, so don't know tomorrow..

Besides Wife Cake, try "Mo Loh So" (摩囉酥) if you find it in supermarket.. It's a traditional HK snack and very yummy and very cheap~ Can try to look for this shop :

When I travel I used to leave my luggage to the hotel I stayed after I checked out. Macau is not very big, take taxi/minibus going back to take your luggage will not spend you too much time...

oh.. then you can only find some place in Macau to store or change your itinerary to travel around Macau on the 1st or 2nd day before you come to HK. Also if you go to Macau only afternoon I don't think you have much time to walk around wor...?

I think cab there wouldn't be expensive la.. their minibus is very cheap too...

i went to tst on xmas eve and i was like "wtf?"

there's a mini concert going on at canton road...n it's damn crowded. the police blocks all the roads and cant see anything. then went to victoria harbour to see the 'dang sik' (lights). man, it was disappointing, even my hk frens were disappointed. argh walk till leg pain...im not going anywhere on nye. or maybe just sit at lkf watch fireworks from ifc.

ops...am i supposed to post something like this here?  whistling.gif
*
That's why I will never go out to TST on any "eve".. no more!! Once I took my relatives to dinner on 24/12, it took me over an hour for a table. After the dinner when I went home, it took me over half an hour to 45 mins to walk from Canton Road to MTR entrance on Cameron Road, which usually only take the most 10mins to walk!!!

That bag around how much? unsure.gif HKD2xx each?? Not so sure about price range of that brand since that's mainly for teenagers... tongue.gif I no longer am a teen.. cry.gif Brands in M'sia tend to mark up very high all the time ga la... like Guess, I don't know why they sell so expensive while in HK I can hardly see people using Guess bags anymore...... even rarely find Guess stores everywhere... But there are still some nice brands we can find in KL but can't find in HK, like GAP & Roots, I'm really clueless why these brands can't stand in HK... huh.gif

btw my dear, the bag on the left is my mom's one, the purple one baru mine. so who set the age limit of owning a Playboy bag? tongue.gif

these 2 bags original price was around HKD600+, then discount 40%, mine 50%, so end up 2 bags for approximately HKD600+ only. laugh.gif
*
No one set the age limit, just general trend of using this brand and the brand's marketing is somehow target on the teen market (e.g. it will use youngster to be the brand's model in magazine while Chanel/LV/CD will use mature model to be their brands' model to appear in poster/magazines...)

Where did you get the bags? Playboy counter in Extraveganza? Good for ya la~ can get such a good deal~ thumbup.gif I think I gotta spare some time for shopping later... hmm.gif

Though the space and food wasn't good enough, it's a budget airline afterall... fair enough la~ Next time plan your trip earlier, so you will be able to book on normal airline like CX or SQ lor~ (hm.. but I don't think CX's food is good on HK departing flight... The weather's very nice but when the wind blows, it gets extremely cold. You guys who are going this week - don't buy/bring too many winter clothes. Bring enough for 1 day, then take the train to Argyle Street. There's TONS of very, extremly, absurdly cheap winter clothings. Heheheh, I bought a Veeko coat for HKD200+, the original price tag was HKD1600. Whoot!! Baleno and Bossini also having lotsa very cheap sale. Better buy there le.

icon_rolleyes.gif Happy New Year!! I had a great time there, hope you guys have fun too!

laugh.gif LOL you think I literally wear and throw meh? When I say treat it that way, I mean if the shirt gets suk sui or cannot be worn anymore for whatever reason, just give it away to the recycling charity during weekends lor. Those Baleno shirts are cheap-skate quality, so cannot expect it to last for years lor. Hahaha, I still keep my Baleno t-shirts that I bought during summer 7 years ago but now wear to marketing or go makan makan only.

Of course we can get good quality shirts but if some ppl have low budget, temporarily buy from Bossini or Baleno lor. I've always prefered Bossini shirts, too bad can't find the shop in KL (at least, I can't find it le).

However, the local food stall people are still as rude as ever. My friends and I are half-ripe bananas and can only read simple chinese, so if we take a bit long to order food, they either start say something sarcastic or show grumpy face. Ended up that we took most of our meals at the more modern food stalls where the waiters are young people.

Overall, it's a nice trip.
*
Bossini doesn't have branches in M'sia, as I know.

Local food stall means "cha charn teng" isn't it? this is local culture la, cheap price surely lower service quality ga la... Even local people get long time to order they will show face too..

Depends on your preference lor... If you're afraid of tiredness, then stay HK, if you aren't afraid of tiredness and "mafan-ness", then go Shenzhen lor...

QUOTE(chibi_tenko @ Jan 6 2008, 11:00 AM)
The weather is very cool and crisp - However, it's the wind chill that your Kai Gor should look out for. The temperature seems to plummet whenever the wind starts to blow. Personally, I'm afraid of cold so I tend to wear a slightly thick sweater plus the winter coat. It's best if your Kai Gor brings a windbreaker.

However, I've one friend who walks around wearing just a sweater and sandals because she's not afraid of cold - she only puts on her coat/jacket when the wind starts to blow. happy.gif If your Kai Got not afraid of cold, he should be ok gua. Oh ya, bring lotsa lotion and lip balm. I'm nursing chapped lips at the moment. Ugh...
