My JMB want to do it properly with standardized trunking and a few centralized location to install TNB meter else it will be a mess if everyone do their own wiring and meter. There's some regulation on bomba compliance too.

Consultant said we will need to upgrade main switch board. Combined with the cost of installing the trunking and adding the electrical riser room, it's gonna cost a bomb.

JMB decided to on hold until there are more demand due to high cost. They want to wait for official standards from TNB or SIRIM too.

For interim solution, they added a few EV charging bay and enforce charge time limit.
