Now Tesla so cheap at rm200k is a real steal I expect next year the road will be flood with Tesla cars.

My concern before buy is can those stay in condo buy Tesla or better wait have some e charging facility installed by the condo?

Usually newer condos allow to install

only if your condo is like commercial + residential

or already prepare by developer

if u plan to pasang on your own parking lot

got many limitations (like car park layout and space ; nearest plug/power source ) and JMB might not allow you to do that due to safety reason/regulation

sometime JMB scare ; once they allowed to do for owner A (because owner A car park near to existing plug)

then owner B will try to do but fail then non stop complain

check all those limitation and get JMB approval first ..before commit for EV

depends. My condo no issues. U can install but u pay extra maintenance fee.

buy a small generator to change your Tesla.

But the condos near Sunway Xtreme park la. Can fast charge there and then walk home. Then come back later to collect car. Get free exercise also.

I read the jmb ruling recently

charger must be on ground level, open area, eg usually visitor carpark area

this will be an issue to basement and multistorey carpark for residence

My 5 years old condo didnt allow us to pasang charger at own parking 🥺 jmb and owner didnt agreed because of messy to implement such as pulling tnb cable etc etc.

But to compromise they install charge sini charger at visitor parking. No cost to jmb.
