QUOTE(vexus @ Jun 29 2023, 11:38 PM) broken ribs during CPR is quite common, especially among older people where their bone more fragile.but better broken ribs than dead. FYI, there r law that protects CPR giver that even cause injury, cant sue the CPR giver. but, u no CPR certificate, & doing it wrong like the video, they van argued that u're causing harm more than helping, hence can sue u. source: i'm CPR certified. need to renew every 3 years. |

Everyone just stand there call 999, and do nothing. Latest CPR already no need do rescue breath, just do 30 compressions and check pulse, then repeat until detect pulse. |

Latest CPR already no need do rescue breath, just do 30 compressions and check pulse, then repeat until detect pulse. ie like shown in the video. if u dunno what u're doing, dun hog the spotlight & be a hero. help go look for people who knows CPR better. QUOTE(urnicksux2 @ Jun 30 2023, 12:29 AM) it's called AED many people dunno the name, how it looks like, where to find, & how to use it. those badminton courts, usually dun hav la. air ports, proper branded malls like sunway, pavilion, they hav. the very first thing u see people collapse lile that, after u check not breathing or no pulse/pulse abnormal, is to get surounding people to go get proper medical help (call 999), & go get AED. then u start the CPR routine. |

QUOTE(endG @ Jun 29 2023, 11:40 PM) No, CPR is meant to bring pulse back. Detect no pulse, CPR until get the pulse back.If dude is awake and breathing, CPR do nothing but hurt the guy. Its not to help breathing or 'pump more oxygen". heater8812 liked this post

Quite a number of people experienced stroke, heart attack during badminton nowadays.
Use HRM la at least. Put a warning once it reaches 150-160bpm so you wont overexert yourself. It could be that day, your body were tired not having enough rest and you decided to push it further. GG lo |

usually these question is easily answered in bls
when to do full cpr? no pulse and not breathing when to do rescue breathing? with pulse but not breathing would hands only cpr be helpful yes, but if it take too long for emt to arrive, you will need mouth to mouth having aed would greatly helps in this situation, expensive version can guide users toward acls prompting them to stop cpr with the sign of rosc |
