is Citibank want to restructure its business hence quitting almost all markets (mostly are 3rd world, and non financial hubs) and retain only the 4 namely UK, SG, HK, and UAE

back in the day, i got citibank just for the buy 1 free 1 gsc ticket. cancelled the card once i was too busy for movies. not sure if they still have this kind of promo. movie tickets are expensive these days.

That's not restructuring, that's downsizing....

No disruption as your cc number and cvv number remains the same, you'll get a uob card with the same number but diff cvv number in oct, so you just treat it as a new card.
