if Murika was so fearful of Soviet set up missile base in Cuba back in 60s, Russia has every right to be fearful for NATO to set up military bases right at Ukraine-Russia border

I got theory that is just excuses by russia, main objectives is to protect its economic and geo politics. Russia dominate oil selling business in europe. Nato want ukraine so they can get alternative oil bypass russia.

Russia is dangerous? Yes. In the sense it is a backward country in terms of mentality with respect to geopolitical relations. It clearly does not respect the concept of self determination, and has expansionist aspirations beyond its capabilities. Is nuclear power the reason we should fear them? No. They are evil, but even they aren't that stupid to use it. The threat of nuclear war is the weapon in itself, not the actual use of one.
