Ukraine continued to advance on September 16, making gains in the #Bakhmut direction and in western #Zaporizhia Oblast where Ukrainian forces continue to penetrate the Russian defensive layer ahead of the current extent of Ukrainian advances. (1/4)

2/ Geolocated footage posted on September 15 confirms that Ukrainian forces have advanced south of Rozdolivka (about 13km northeast of #Bakhmut) and in northern Klishchiivka (about 6km southwest of Bakhmut).

3/ Geolocated footage published on September 16 indicates that Ukrainian forces advanced along Russian defensive positions to the west of #Robotyne (10km south of Orikhiv).

4/ Additional geolocated footage published on September 15 indicates that Ukrainian infantry advanced further along a series of Russian defensive positions immediately west of #Verbove (18km southeast of Orikhiv) but likely did not maintain control of these positions.

5/ The Ukrainian presence at these Russian defensive positions indicates that Russian forces do not control these positions either and that Ukrainian forces are continuing to operate past the Russian defensive layer that runs northwest of #Verbove to north of Solodka Balka.

So Russia has spent $25.6 billion on compensation to families of deceased soldiers and $21 billion on compensation to the wounded. Putin has previously signed a decree earlier in the year ordering the payout of $68,800 to the families of deceased and $41,300 to soldiers that are wounded. Using this we can get a glance at potential Russian casualties assuming zero corruption and money laundering.

According to the expenditures by the Russian Government they have conducted payouts to the next of kin for 372,093 soldiers killed in action.

But the actual data if you read the article does come in part by Reuters which got their data from Russian Federal Treasury's online budget portal. Which was updated a few months ago to include data from 2022 up through the beginning of 2023.

US must seek peace in Ukraine instead of funding the conflict, lawmaker says
On Friday, The Hill reported that US Republicans are increasingly expressing doubts about approving the administration's request for additional funding for additional military aid to Ukraine 😁

WASHINGTON, September 18. /TASS/. The US Administration must take measures to settle the conflict in Ukraine instead of funding it, US House Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) said on her X page.

"America’s only position in Ukraine should be pushing for peace, not funding a war that is killing people every single day and [wrecking] Europe’s economy," the lawmaker said.

She noted that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky arrives in Washington this week, and the US House is supposed to vote for a defense bill that includes another $300 million for Ukraine.

"He’s already gotten over $113 billion of Americans hard earned taxpayer dollars," the lawmaker said. "I’ve never voted to send a penny to Ukraine and I’m not voting for it this week especially with Zelenskyy in town wearing his green T-shirt acting like he’s at war while he’s telling Joe Biden what to do.

On Friday, The Hill reported that US Republicans increasingly express their doubts regarding the approval of the Administration’s request for additional funding for additional military aid to Ukraine.

On August 10, the US Administration requested $13 billion for emergency military aid for Kiev and $8.5 billion for economic and security aid to Ukraine and a number of other states from the Congress as additional expenses from the federal budget. Taylor Greene pointed out that the US authorities provide huge funds for military aid to Ukraine while forgetting that support is needed for the US state of Hawaii, which suffered heavily from fires.

this is true. United24 reported US is sending/donating lots of tanks, rifles & ammunition to Ukraine. Netherlands also transferred 42 F-16 to Ukraine.
