It is September in a few days. There is growing talk in Russia of a new wave of mobilization. The most probable time period for its announcement is from September 11 to the end of the month. It is conditioned by two election dates in the Russian Federation. ◾️ On 10 September, a unified voting day will be held in the regions of the federation (the mayor of Moscow will be elected as well). ◾️On 17 March 2024, presidential elections will be held in Russia.
Therefore, mobilization is unlikely to be announced before September 10. But it is also unlikely to be announced later than the end of September as it has to be completed at least a couple of months before the start of the presidential election campaign.
Hidden mobilization is already underway. What is happening in Russia shows that Putin's regime is ready for a long and protracted war.
