i think it has mainly to with the design even though it is designated as a "light tank" that try to be best of both worlds but master of none.

i think this kind of vehicle may work in suppression missions in a secured area but as frontline vehicle, it probably left much to be desired as it cannot sustain a tank round or any autocannon up to 30mm.
