My dermatologist recommended me: BENOSONE cream.
It contains steroid.
But it works for me.

Long term?

Long term usage of creams that contains steroids will thin your skin.

Mine eczema usually on hands and fingers is triggered by dust and detergent, I wear gloves when washing can reduce

Using QV body wash and QV intensive moisturiser so far so good, but if it becomes inflamed and flaky then need to use steroid cream for a couple of days then it will go away

It comes and goes, always in a cycle….

Also worth considering investing in air purifier as it really helps minimise dust mites, germs and tiny particles dirt

Long term it will disrupt your HPA axis and negatively inhibit body own natural steroid which is cortisol. Eczema worsen after stop strong steroid. Its called TSW

you can do a blood test to test your allergy, and you may be surprised at what you are allergic at, some people are allergic to certain plants, or pets hair, etc.

Well, I got hand eczema for over 15 years d. Then develope to elbow dry.
Due to my job until today I still suffer this problem.

Here is solely my experience with all these product

Things that doesn't work
Oil
Solely Water base lotion
Solely oil/fat base lotion

Things that work
Get lotion that hydrates and also coating
-Best, Rosken Dry skin lotion (cheap)
-Very good, Sebamed lotion a bit too watery (above average)
-Good, Johnson Baby lotion (cheap)
-Good , Cetaphil lotion (exp)
-Good ,Kielhs, body lotion (above average)

Not all lotion works for u, so try it out. When the skin starts to bleed and wounded, some lotion triggers itchiness

Best combo,
Apply lotion, wear glove to sleep

Best preventive method
Change shampoo/soap
Wear glove to wash plate/bath

Things may work
- Omega 3, fish oil
- expose more sunlight, cuz lack for vit D
- avoid gluten( not sure)
*
what soap u use now?

Glutamine works? Anyone here tried?

Tried already lah so many times. So so only. Mild eczema probably ok la. Just take it as additional eczema. You cant cure chronic disease with just one pill.

No recurrence till to-date. It's a bit of a long read but could be useful to some people.

i have eczema since i was a kid for the past 20+ years. tried taking lesser flour products - noodles, bread, pastries, etc and it helps. doesnt flare at often. also stress. after i changed job it doesnt flare up that easily but nowadays weather too hot and it starts again ugh.

my bro who also had eczema went for injections when he was overseas. it stopped after he past 35 though.
