To be honest, put the all the fancy tech aside, Mazda 2 is a much better "driver car" compare to the two.

But at that price range, people are looking for value for money, not driving experience. So, definitely nobody will buy some car with kosong specs at that price when other competitors are offering full specs at cheaper price.

They don't even have Mazda 2 in show room or test drive unit. You need to make appointment so that they can bring over the car to they showroom if you want to see one.

Bigger than viva la. But definitely smaller than Axia.

sorry, just a sarcastic word, to tell it legroom is really small. Adults at the back, sure they will complaint.

Mazda crown jewel is their CX-5, the sales has drop 50% compare to the peak around year 2022.

Haha. I upgraded my Axia to Mazda 2 earlier this year. So I have the tendency to "correct" people's misconception about Mazda 2.

Bought it pre-owned, 20k less with 7xx km mileage, less 6 months warranty. So, I don't feel as expensive as paying for brand new.

I think dealer's showroom is small. Bermaz own showroom is normally decent size.

Mazda 2 is suppose to be "Axia" of developed countries. Small town car for easy maneuverability. Only in Malaysia they sell to compete with family starter car like Vios & City which is exclusively for Asean market.

I test drive that babi G sik before, bukkake pintu window , car seat moves back .. then each time need to move back the seat into proper position.. Another additional motor to fix if it fails... similar to that smart #1 where the windscreen goes up n down each time you tutupe the door.

Hyundai Ionic N series also tare bring into Malaysia.. somemore want merehsian to register interest first in website...

WRX also kasi showcase in starling mall the other day .. , asked to bukak and let me seat dalam... they say kenot... punde also... how you guys wanna sell cars like that or capture proper interest?... Waste of time showcasing there in this case...

think last year or 2 years ago, Bermaz make car show, big car show at 1Utama shopping mall. Show off all Bermaz model there, can enter in out, check their rear boot, engine size etc2. That time Peugeot under Bermaz, compared side to side for interior wise, Peugeot interior quality, soft leather materials were more generous than Mazda. That include one SUV pickup truck Peugeot model, forget the model name, interior not like Hilux, still comfortable.

unfortunately not found ODR for the Pickup truck by peugoet up until now.

Compare to VW model (they love do shopping mall show), the interior are basically the same and bored fast.

Because most ppl realise its a damn boring car. It looks sporty on the outside but rides worse than a Corolla Cross. The 2L CX5 is underpowered and the 2.5L CX drinks petrol worse than any 2L turbo car. The 2.5 turbo version is too pricey and its FC is even worse. Besides, the quality is nowhere near the CBU Japan of old Mazdas

So it makes no sense to buy cx5 nowadays.

Mazda2 is a total rubbish car for its price. Engine is noisy as hell. Yes handling is good, but the interior space is terrible. You are better off buying an Axia

Axia is also a small car, but has plenty of interior space. R u saying Mazda 2 is not tin milo? What makes u think mazda 2 is safer than Axia? Just because u use your knuckles knock on Mazda 2 and it felt harder?

My staff has Mazda Cx5 2.5L. Nothing great about that car at all. Honda CRV drives so much better than CX5

Y not? Same category? When i say it drives better meaning its more fun to drive compared to cx5. Nothing to do with power. Crv feels more refined overall.
