Yes. People has to be in the same house, they can go outside but the app must be able to access the house wifi at least once every 30 days.

If you share with people in same neighborhood, no issues.. they just bring their phone/laptop access netflix with your wifi for awhile, it's done. But if TV, cannot lor.

Interesting question. We need answers on that, I'm not sure. Because at home, I depend on wifi entirely.

I think maybe it still can detect the location of the network each phone access to?

Like sometimes you create gmail, then you setup your new phone at the same house (even if you're in data), it detects that you're on a common network. If you setup new phone outside in different location with same gmail, it will make it tough. Maybe will work in that similar way. I'm not sure, since I depend on wifi entirely when I'm home.

So another question will be, if the primary device use Maxis 4G, then another device use Digi 4G.. maybe can't access. Or maybe can, as long location is still the same? We don't know.. need time until someone test it.

UK now flags password sharing, a most talked-about issue in the realm of streaming services, as piracy. Therefore, it is illegal and a potential crime

"Under Section 11 of the Fraud Act of 2006 in the UK, someone using "services of a members' club without paying and without being a member" is considered fraud."

Kek.. still paying to Netlix, and it is piracy?

Like that means people who work in cinema, can get discounts for friends/family, that is piracy also.

Netflix can monitor multiple logins from different locations or devices despite randomized MAC and dynamic IP addresses through several methods:
  • User behavior analysis: Netflix can analyze user behavior to detect any unusual patterns of activity, such as multiple logins from different locations or devices at the same time. By analyzing user behavior, Netflix can identify when an account is being shared among multiple users.
  • Cross-referencing login data: Netflix can cross-reference login data with other information, such as geolocation data, to determine whether multiple logins are coming from the same or different locations.
  • Device fingerprinting: Netflix can use device fingerprinting techniques to identify individual devices and track their usage over time. Device fingerprinting can identify unique characteristics of a device, such as the browser version, screen resolution, and operating system, which can be used to track users across different locations and devices.
  • Session management: Netflix can use session management techniques to track user sessions over time. By tracking user sessions, Netflix can identify when multiple users are using the same account simultaneously.
  • IP address analysis: While dynamic IP addresses can change frequently, Netflix can still track IP addresses associated with each login and compare them to the known locations of the account holder. Netflix can use geolocation data to determine the approximate location of an IP address and compare it to the known location of the account holder.
Overall, Netflix uses a combination of techniques to monitor multiple logins from different locations or devices, despite randomized MAC and dynamic IP addresses. By analyzing user behavior, cross-referencing login data, using device fingerprinting, session management, and IP address analysis, Netflix can detect when an account is being shared among multiple users and take appropriate action to prevent password sharing.

What device you use to access that Netflix at work?

Is it phone that you also use at home? Or tablet, laptop? Or is it PC, that stays at office?
