Cockroach is survive from Dinasour era till now. I don't think any ridsect, baygon , etc is useful. Hot weather or expose under sun doesn't work at all but in fact you yourself dying first before the extinction of roaches. Under extreme temperature benzene gas will come out from the plastic and dashboard and resulting hazardous to yourself. This same with Ridsect and Baygon. I tried it before , i have my worst day for almost 1 month as air conditon is cycling and although windows is open still had to get rid of the smell.
My method is simple and always works too. Purchase cockroach powder ( poison ) put a little here and there in your car. Leave it for 1 whole week than vacuum clean you whole car. You shall find lots of dead cockroach. Good of it, whereever you fail to vacuum those dead roach will be the meal for 2nd , 3rd batch of incoming roaches. As roaches known to canibal its own species too. Those dead roaches is dead due poison and the poison still stay too. This how it works. The cycle will continue never ending.

Finally, your car is extinct of roaches forever and ever. Anyhow, i'm not roaches king or any biological connected to it. Just sharing here. Good Luck!!!!

rip our the entire car's carpeting , seat , door panel , plastic panel and use a vacumm to suck to cockroach while u ripping out ur interior
then when ur car interior is empty left ur door open and best left under hot sun

Can I know what is your car? Do it yourself? I have try use pandan leaves, now using cockroach bait, still haven't see any come out this month (touch wood). When come out, just feel like burning my old car.

At night u spray pesticide inside the car, then shut the door and leave the car.

Countless time I did that when I have any sighting of them. Normally can only see them by luck. Once sighted, sprayed the car like hell till I sit in my car the whole week also can still smell it. It will come back every month because it doesn't kill the egg. That the main reason need to buy a new car now, else can save $$.

Try the Pandan trick la.... Maybe got luck...

Last time my savvy got infested with ants coz i parked the car near a tree with a tree branch touching the car lower part near the door...so the ants all went in....

I used Shelltox and Spray...kaw tim.

TS: You can try using those coachroach poison...so they eat...went back to their next and die, and other coachroach eat this one...all die...

can send a pic of that trap? because its said here that the cockroach trap with poison will kill them but they can die on hidden places in the car, hence yucky with the dead bodies in your car and could smell.

so far i see no "live" cockroach in the car, but a small dead one which died probably due to intense interior heat when under the sun. however my car has windshield cover now, and moreso a car cover, hence protected from sun and rain, but now i realize the environment within is friendlier to cockroach or whatever.

i just want to be proactive.

got two type of trap, one is poison then they eat run elsewhere and die. i use that type for my house ... but for car i use the type that the cockroach will get stuck inside the trap then you just throw away the trap

Go shop. Ask them CLEAR all interior thing. Include vacumm.
At the back take the type out ALL CLEAR, under the Sun light.

where to buy this and how much ? tesco got ?

fyi this kind of trap only works for 1 day at the most, the 2nd day it wont catch anything

buy those plastic ones with real trap doors, and keep changing them once a week until there are no more roaches that are trapped

and ofcourse i know that balls, but one does not put it in car unless u want to suffocate. The smell stays for few days.
