Yes,the best thing to do is put pandan leaves. They are extremely useful Prevent roaches, eliminates smell from your car too.
Last time during my "waja" days.I spilled a whole cup of coffee onto the seat.Since it a fabric material and the coffee already absorb to the seat i could not do anything. The smell was terrible after the coffee had dried.Someone told me put pandan leaves. After 3 days the smell was gone like magic!

Haha. yeah. I've had this problems too. I tried putting pandan leaves occasionally, but the result is random. Sometimes they will appear and sometimes not. I wonder if putting the roach house trap "size like a box" would work? hmmz..

QUOTE(kokifung @ Oct 18 2007, 08:41 PM) btw, u can don drive it wan ma.. got cruise.. haha or can push the car down to the river.. actually wat i mean was that if u drive the car to the river, will it get wet and damage the car? of coz la.. then u won wanan keep that car unless u are loaded with cash lor.. after repair the water car, u would wanna sell it off lor.. so = waste of thousand.. better dun drive to water just sell it off if u dun wan the car liou.. TS better ask for pro pest killer to settle ur problem, u won wanna make ur car more smelly then before lor.. just my opinion.. but wat i been thru.. put pandan leaves and park under the hot sun then will do the trick but must go for car wash and vacuum lor and of coz the anti bacterial treatment.. true true it will surely damage ur car... i think if ur car is hybrid... maybe more worst This post has been edited by boyslove: Oct 19 2007, 01:05 PM

Well over the weekend I did the spray ridsect overnight thing. Next morning saw 7 dead baby roaches around various parts of car. Problem still not really solved yet tho cos while driving I still managed to see another 2 live ones running around (one on dashboard, one on the upholstery =\).

i think best is u use those cockroach pellet. put in ur car.. the cockroach eat.. go back to nest n die, the cockroach eat the dead cockroach they die also.
quite useful.
else u use the sticky mouse trap method. very effective as well.

Getting Started

i was having the same problem about few months ago after helping my friend to move some boxes. the xiu keong is very small size as u mentioned. I had have tried many ways, here are some of my advise.
1. open windows even for days doesnt work, and u will bring more insect into your car.
2. park under hot sun doesnt work, because xiu keong can still survive even under extremely high temperature. i parked my car under hot sun for 10 days, but they are still there with more kids.
3. sheldtox and resect doesnt work. i took out all the car seat and carpet, armrest, everything, and spray, then left my car there for 3 days. this will kill most of the xiu keong, but u cannt kill the eggs. they will come back in few days.
4. i found most of them are hiding under the car seat, especially back seat. if ur car is wira, it is very easy to take the seat out and check.
5. finally, i found the way to eliminate them. go to tesco or giant to buy the insect trap and also the xiu keong poison. the insect trap is the small paper house with super glue. u can place some food in the middle to trap the xiu keong u can put 2-3 of this in your car. the xiu keong poison is the best. i bought the resect brand one. it is black color plastic cover with a small pieces poison inside. u need 3 of this in your car. i got about 10-20 xiu keung every night. after a week, they are gone. but i still leave the insect poison in my car until now just in case.
