A total of 15 individuals are suing businessperson Goh Hwan Hua and four companies over alleged failure to pay monthly redemption value sums from the plaintiffs’ invested amount of over RM8 million.

However, Goh and the four companies have a pending application to strike out the individuals’ writ of summons on grounds that it is purportedly scandalous, frivolous, vexatious, and an abuse of court process...

Report is one thing 🤦‍♀️ prosecute and found guilty is another as it is gonna take years or a decade before the case goes to court and verdict 🤦‍♀️

Even Najib case took almost 4 years to find him guilty so what do you think this so called failed and washed out money lender will do in the mean time

you are right, court cases will drag for many years.
for the victims/investors, i have bad news, the chances of recovery is close to zero.
the only consolation is to see goh, his son and wife declared bankrupt.
a very good chances his entire family will be declared bankrupt because he is stupid enough to get all of them involved.
normally scammers will take the bullet and isolate their family from the scams they are doing, goh... special.
his son and wife are directors, therefore the chances of them being declared bankrupt is very high if the victims win the court case.

As per my understanding, police is investigating for criminal case, which if proven, will put them all behind bars, not just bankrupt.. that's secondary..

Police can investigate all they want 🤦‍♀️ but if the case is proven police can’t do anything 🤦‍♀️ up to whether DPP is willing to prosecute the case and whether AG will give it go ahead for trial before sentencing so police have no power to put them to jail 🤦‍♀️ but the appointed judge of the case itself will have the powrr

Chances highly I can tell you that the case will dragged for at least until 2030 🤦‍♀️ and the cockroach 🪳 Goh will not go to jail but settle somehow 🤦‍♀️

Like most court cases... yes, you're right, it will drag for many years and most probably he will not go to prison, even if he does, maybe 1 day only. At the end of the day, it pays to run a ponzi scam in Malaysia.
