The case is still under investigation, you can check BNM website, clearly it says i-serve is still an on-going case, dont believe what Goh is telling you in the video call or whatsapp.

Like the fake k8xpress korean convenient store where he told every investor in 5 years time k8xpress will beat FamilyMart and be the number 1 convenient store, and Season grocer/GoMart will beat Speedmart 99 to be the number 1. Then they will go IPO and everyone will make multi-millions.

Yes, the new airline, MyAirline is by Dato Goh, I think he owns about 96 or 98%... the CEO Rayner got 2%.
He is very low profile now, he doesn't want to ruin myairline with his reputation.

LANGKAWI: Malaysia’s regional carrier SKS Airways has committed to leasing 10 Embraer E195-E2 single-aisle jets in a deal worth more than US$840mil (RM3.9bil) from Azorra.

The deal was announced at the official signing ceremony between SKS Airways, Embraer Commercial Aviation and Azorra at the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace exhibition 2023 (Lima’23) here yesterday.

SKS Airways director Datuk Rohman Ahmad said the 10 aircraft would form the core of the airline’s expansion plans and would be based at Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (LTSAAS) in Subang, Selangor.

“The delivery of the first E195-E2 to SKS Airways is scheduled for January 2024, making SKS Airways the first operator of the Embraer E195-E2 in South-East Asia,” he said.

He added that the airline launched commercial operations in January 2022.

"BNM: I-Serve Online Mall Sdn Bhd and 6 other companies fined RM50mil for illegal deposit taking" (NST)

KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) imposed a total compound of RM50 million on I-Serve Online Mall Sdn Bhd and six other companies under the I-Serve Group, for accepting deposits without a license, on October 19, 2022.

The other six companies were i-Serve Technology and Vacations Sdn Bhd, QA Smart Partnership PLT, QA Elite Partnership PLT, QA Premium Partnership PLT, MM2217 PLT and Valuewise PLT.

BNM today announced that the compounds were imposed following a joint enforcement action taken against the seven entities on suspicion of committing various offences.

BNM's investigation revealed that between June 2018 and September 2021, the respective entities had accepted deposits from the public and had consequentially engaged directly in transactions that involved proceeds of such illegal deposit-taking activities.

This was undertaken through schemes where monies were accepted from the public on terms under which the monies would be repaid in full, in breach of the Financial Services Act (FSA).

BNM said the total compound amount was determined by considering factors such as the severity of offences committed and all aggravating and mitigating factors.

On November 16, 2022, the entities paid the total amount of compound of RM50 million imposed by BNM.

I-Serve Group has been instructed to ensure that it does not operate any scheme or a semblance of a scheme that accepts deposits from the public, in contravention of section 137(1) of the FSA.

you are right, court cases will drag for many years.
for the victims/investors, i have bad news, the chances of recovery is close to zero.
the only consolation is to see goh, his son and wife declared bankrupt.
a very good chances his entire family will be declared bankrupt because he is stupid enough to get all of them involved.
normally scammers will take the bullet and isolate their family from the scams they are doing, goh... special.
his son and wife are directors, therefore the chances of them being declared bankrupt is very high if the victims win the court case.

Like most court cases... yes, you're right, it will drag for many years and most probably he will not go to prison, even if he does, maybe 1 day only. At the end of the day, it pays to run a ponzi scam in Malaysia.

Individuals who have fallen victim to fraudulent investment schemes risk losing the right to recover their money even after going through the legal avenue.

“Evidence shows that they (investors) have voluntarily and without coercion deposited money into accounts that were instructed, to become investors in the VenusFX scheme and expect a return on the investment,” said Ramli during the CCID director’s special media conference at Menara KPJ.

The comment follows an April 24 Federal Court decision in a hearing involving an illegal deposit taking scheme, where it allowed the prosecution’s appeal to forfeit more than RM1.1 million from 79 investors.

Siapa cepat dia dapat, those that choose to trust his lies never sue, while these 15 investors sued him immediately when BNM raided them. Hopefully the court can force Goh Hwan Hua to sell some of his assest or his children/mistress assests and repay these 15 investors. For the other 200+ investors that sued later, I think got nothing more....

Investors succeed legal action against MyAirline co-founder Goh, four companies

KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 9): The High Court has ruled in favour of 15 investors who sued MyAirline co-founder Datuk Allan Goh Hwan Hua over the alleged failure to pay to the investors monthly redemption value sums and financing returns from the investors’ outlay of about RM8 million.

High Court judge Leong Wai Hong, who delivered the decision on Tuesday, ruled that the investors had proven their case on the balance of probabilities and ordered the sum of RM7,610,000 and S$170,000 to be paid back to them.

The court also awarded costs of RM100,000 to be paid jointly or severally by Goh, along with defendants i-Serve Online Mall Sdn Bhd (ISOM), Bright Moon Venture PLT (BMV), QA Smart Partnership PLT (QAS), and Trillion Cove Holdings Bhd (TCH).

To be jointly or severally liable means each defendant named under an order is responsible for paying off the debt either individually or as a group. If anyone is unable to pay, the rest must shoulder the burden until the debt is paid.

In the legal action filed in 2022, the investors said that the companies had failed to make the agreed-upon monthly payments from November 2021 to June 2022, despite numerous letters of demand issued.

The investors also noted that the payments to them stopped in November 2021, around the time that Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) had raided ISOM, TCH, and other companies, and subsequently froze their banking accounts.

The investors say that a failure to make the payments was a breach of agreement, and they are seeking their full investment amount, as well as arrears of the monthly payments. They also claim that Goh had perpetrated fraud by misrepresenting that some of the defendants were legitimate operations.

The plaintiffs claim that Goh is the “controlling mind” of the defendants and cited notices, announcements, and teleconferences organised by or under Goh and ISOM’s instructions regarding investments via BMV, QAS, and TCH.

The defendants had filed an application to strike out the suit on the basis that the legal action was a nullity and an abuse of the court process.

Some defendants contended that the plaintiffs were “statutorily prohibited” from filing the legal action, as the sum demanded was part of the monies seized by BNM under the Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA) in late 2021.

However, in December 2023, the High Court had ruled that there were issues in the case that had to be ventilated in a trial, including whether Goh and the companies had committed fraud.

The investors were represented by Rajesh Nagarajan, Sachpreetraj Singh, and Amanda Sonia Mathew. Messrs Mathews Hun Lachimanan is representing Goh in this matter. Messrs Chetan Jethwani & Company are representing ISOM and TCH, while the law firm KP Lu & Tan is acting for BMV and QAS.
