i think i am going to use full mono 50-60lb to do the tanduk thingy ... prolly wont get even 6 inch of spreader effect .. but will take some logical steps to ensure line and leader do not tangle when bait and sinker goes down .. then make about 3 inch of wire line to hook ... hehehehee

hmmn....i have seen such that they placed a thicker mono in between then tie as according to the mono

not sure if it's applicable or not
