I for one will stand by VP2 over 2Human.
Maybe it is a matter of preference but just by the VP2 feature to include 4 players coop is enough to pawn even the better games out there.

Not preference...but i just suck so bad in Viva Pinnata. Check out my VP1 achievement...i can't play the game well. No matter how hard i try, all the pinnata in my garden will start fighting then it turn into a mess. Got frustrated & sold it off.

VP need to refer to FAQ one ... as long as you plan accordingly i.e. make sure you don't mix "conflicting" pinatas then sure OK one

I d/l'ed the demo for TH and dunno ... don't really feel like spending on it. Maybe few months from now when you guys get sick of it then I'll pick it up from pasar malam :3

This is an instant revelation to me. As a BIG Diablo kipassusahmati, the 1st page made me thought about getting an Xbox360. As i read through, i was laughing all the way and changed my perception. Well any console that has a DIABLO killer/rival, will get my vote. Too bad Too Human has a nice nickname for it already. When is a really good Diablo clone coming huh? I already too tired to upgrade PC to play Diablo (pray it comes to consoles)

It's not at all a bad game. Definitely not a 5 or a 6.
My Score for Too Human - 8.3/10

Story at first felt disconnected but after chapter 2, the story starts to shape up pretty well. Too bad it ended a little too fast. Cliffhangers FTL.

Combat with 2 thumbsticks actually works rather well. I was trying to use my thumbsticks to attack in SW: Force Unleashed Demo earlier. hehe. However, there are bugs like when you're landing, Baldur just gets stuck cuz there are enemies underneath him. Hopefully a patch is released sometime soon. Using guns were kind of weird, aiming mechanism does not work very well.

Camera is not that good, a little better than Ninja Gaiden 2. It is, however, very playable if you set the correct camera mode (I recommend 'far' or 'ISO') and learn to use the LB button properly.

Graphics are on par with Halo 3.

Customization. That's this games strong point. VERY strong point. A lot of different types of weapons and armor as well as skills. I only played the berserker but I did try many different skill combinations. The atk speed++ berserker is a real joy to watch.

I remember one review, Gamespot or 1up, saying that you get a better weapon or armor every 5 mins. Totally not true. There will be new items you can use every 5 mins, but not all may suit your character. Some may give bonuses to healing or ranged which are not at all suitable for a berserker.

Overall, a satisfying experience. Really looking forward to Too Human 2.

Oh and if anyone's wondering why I'm selling this game despite liking it, it's cuz of Tales of Vesperia and Infinite Undiscovery which are being released in the coming weeks. Unfortunately, Too Human and NG2 are the only SP games I have which can fetch at least a hundred bucks each.

Anyway i am thinking of getting a copy of Too Human also but since Tales of Vesperia is coming out soon, it is really hard to decide which to get.
And yes i do believe that this game is just better than previewed.
Just like Alone in the Dark which was reviewed badly but then i find the game interesting enough
So i guess the same apply to this game too.

I'd say get Tales. Of course, I'm only saying that cuz I prefer JRPGs to WRPGs.

Yeah, I really have to recycle my games like this for now. Pockets are empty but looking at the lineup from now til 2009, it's just insane. I have no idea where the hell I'm gonna get enough money to play em all. T_T

Lucky i am not a fan of JRPG...but a month after TOV & UI, 2 WRPG bomb will drop on me - Fallout 3 & Fable 2.

After giving the demo a second try on a 40inch screen with 5.1 sound, the game actually starts to show a presence. I feel a small bit of eternal darkness come thru.

And to think i got on the xbox 360 to get away from JRPG.
Its like a curse that follows me around.

Yea, i also think this game is nicer than people said (or condemned)... yea the story is dumb, the music is lousy (or is there any?), voice acting is not good, BUT the gameplay itself is ok, the control is ok (take a bit of practice to get used and a LOT of practice to execute combos accurately), camera is bad, but ive seen worse (ie ng2)... It deserves at least 7/10 to me, definitely not a 5/10 game... I feel it is very much enjoyable, in fact, yesterday i played until 5am and i still have to go to work at 8am

Oh btw, i don't agree with ya on alone in the dark, it is disastrous

Oh i picked this 2-handed sword (cyber) up just now, it's one of the *display unit* at weapon shop


For the boss, when it is on 4 foots, melee it; when it is standing, shoot it or air-finisher it.

Eh that sword is unique item isn't it, saw it hanging on the wall in the city. I just started the game only...you wait!

John, you gotta break his carapace first!, use an air finisher a few times until the robot's like...naked, it's when you can see its skinny arms & legs lol.
then run behind it and hit "a" and do the balancing thing and move your analog stick downwards for the finishing move. otherwise you can just target its diff body parts with your guns until he collapses! XD
