A lot of reviews gave it low but got quite a number of sites also gave it pretty good scores. Like 8 and above.
I'm still getting it though. I have a feeling that although this one isn't that good, the sequels will be much better.

Yeap, I played the demo a couple of times. Can't say I loved it, but I definitely like it more than GTA IV (I know I'm weird). Controls were odd but were responsive, graphics ok la considering there are no load times if you don't skip cutscenes, and also,
the whole Cybernatic-Norse thing is very intriguing to me.
I'll just give it a try, paling teruk pun rugi 160 ringgit .

Are you serious bout the free MS points? That's really generous of them. Does it apply for Asian releases as well?

Cutscenes remind me of DMC series. Cheesy dialogue. Which automatically makes Baldur a bad-ass for geeks. Lol.

I'm already two hours in and I really love this game. Beating the shit out off robots...feels awfully satisfying. Camera is fine, just set it to 'far' then it won't get in the way anymore, except when you want to change targets to enemies behind you la. Just hit LB to reset camera if you want to do so.

Seriously, the reviews (which gave it really really low scores) do not justify this game's quality. I mean yeah, memang la got problems, but if you get over them, this game is really satisfying and hard to put down.

It's not at all a bad game. Definitely not a 5 or a 6.
My Score for Too Human - 8.3/10

Story at first felt disconnected but after chapter 2, the story starts to shape up pretty well. Too bad it ended a little too fast. Cliffhangers FTL.

Combat with 2 thumbsticks actually works rather well. I was trying to use my thumbsticks to attack in SW: Force Unleashed Demo earlier. hehe. However, there are bugs like when you're landing, Baldur just gets stuck cuz there are enemies underneath him. Hopefully a patch is released sometime soon. Using guns were kind of weird, aiming mechanism does not work very well.

Camera is not that good, a little better than Ninja Gaiden 2. It is, however, very playable if you set the correct camera mode (I recommend 'far' or 'ISO') and learn to use the LB button properly.

Graphics are on par with Halo 3.

Customization. That's this games strong point. VERY strong point. A lot of different types of weapons and armor as well as skills. I only played the berserker but I did try many different skill combinations. The atk speed++ berserker is a real joy to watch.

I remember one review, Gamespot or 1up, saying that you get a better weapon or armor every 5 mins. Totally not true. There will be new items you can use every 5 mins, but not all may suit your character. Some may give bonuses to healing or ranged which are not at all suitable for a berserker.

Overall, a satisfying experience. Really looking forward to Too Human 2.

Oh and if anyone's wondering why I'm selling this game despite liking it, it's cuz of Tales of Vesperia and Infinite Undiscovery which are being released in the coming weeks. Unfortunately, Too Human and NG2 are the only SP games I have which can fetch at least a hundred bucks each.

I'd say get Tales. Of course, I'm only saying that cuz I prefer JRPGs to WRPGs.

Yeah, I really have to recycle my games like this for now. Pockets are empty but looking at the lineup from now til 2009, it's just insane. I have no idea where the hell I'm gonna get enough money to play em all. T_T

All I did to kill him was air-finishers like gila, roll around when i get stuck with his minions, break pods for health, rinse & repeat til he's down.

Not a very hard boss. Nxt boss I think - Hod. Now that guy's a real annoyance. Tip --> pistols.
