drunk late at night, then puke inside grab car, who gonna clean it... or they cari pasal inside car with the owner...
or... diam2 hantar balik, drunk x buat hal...
most of the cases, falls under option 1...
u wanna try, try do grab and see.. or if u do grab, but u lucky din experiance all these situations... well most of my friend , they all got bad experiance...
then how? ppl drink and don't take grab, just drive themselves home? Is drunk passengers not accepted part of Grab t&c?
1. the assumption from the driver is prolly due to the pick up location. its not uncommon for sales people to go drinking with clients after working hours to close the deal. 10.40pm might be early for people who finish clubbing but its around the normal time for sales people to finish dinner + drinks with clients ready to go home. she didnt reveal the pick up location so cannot blame driver for making assumption
2. driver prolly had experience where kena vomit and passenger didnt want to pay cleaning fee and grab didnt want to pay as well and didnt side with them
3. grab bleeding driver like mad now, highly unlikely they will terminate the driver over this. maybe just warning. they arent as big as couple years ago where they can lanci like fk with so many drivers begging to work for them
some grab driver they really had a very very bad unpleasant experiance with customer who are drunk especiually late at night
i think, i can understand the grab driver concern over here..
but for this case, the indian who book grab, can just explian to the driver, saya baru balik kerja, dan saya x minum alhocol.. end of story..

I stopped doing GrabCar after pundek bingchilling vomit in my car.
At first Grab said will compensate cleaning fees, then they argue the receipt not legit. Pundek middle of the night I just go some tepi jalan carwash run by Bangla, they don't have proper receipt. Where else can I go? Car detailing shop where got open middle of the night?
now can use this excuse if drink driving accidents.
Else Anthony Loke better get the law ready like 6y6k to those drivers who refuse to accept customers.
I got better solution...have grab car designed for drunk puking customers. seat and interior all hard plastic...silicon seal all gaps. easy to pressure spray out vomit.

actually should have two tier service. grab normal and grab MABUK. mabuk car all 50% surchage to cover additional cost of plastic barrier protection and cleaning fees owai.
its just plain simple...u drink and get drunk.. when grab driver or anyone didn want to fethch u due to their experiance with drunk people... you on ur own.. pandai2 cari masalah, pandai2 settle...
