driving without AC?

this kind suddenly die ..without any error code ..
4man did something that potential then try ...
they cannot confirm to identify which parts causing the problem ...need longer time to find out...

you can check online price and negotiate with him. if you think too expensive then go other place. if he can solve your problem and swap out a lot of things for you to test, it think it's fair

There are specified ways to diagnose for unknown issues. And sometimes it does take months for workshop to find the culprit. The proper way is using OBD2 and check the readings and graph. This a very complicated process that no many in Malaysia can do.

Old school method still find but takes a bit more of trial and error. However, I see your pomen like main tembak until like just try everything.

Anyway, good luck man. Do update here what have been tried and eventually what is the fix.

today get back car ..4man changed new O2 sensor ...cost RM285

1st one 4man put O2 sensor with engine logo light up ..he told no engine off issue ..

2nd change new O2 sensor ..then monitor again

i think 4man dont know what to do ..so just change new O2 sensor see how ...
4man dont want change fuel pump ..plug..plug cable ..he think not the root cause ..items price not cheaper ..

normal workshop 4man know how to interpret the datalog? saw them just check got error code or not only..
not that expert ...

Some can... it depends on their experience and familiarity with the particular engine.
Conti cars 4man normally have higher skills for this because of the complex and weird problems conti engines have.

However if i was diagnosing a Myvi... and since there is so many Myvis around.
I would first datalog a good problem free Myvi vacuum, MAP, O2 reading, Injector duty cycle, ignition timing, cam angles for example.
Then compare with the problematic Myvi and see if the readings are similar or way off.

I've my own scan tools, and those workshops normally have better and more expensive scan tools compared to mine.

If using one off, it's expensive lah... I'm using Thinkcar scanner, the cheapest one.
Not mistaken cost RM 100+ and there is annual subscriptions fee based on function and car brand.
