hi ..

.my .old myvi suddenly engine off during drive....shift gear to N..car can start and drive ..
after start car can drive as normal...


cleaned throttle body ...changed recon throttle body switch sensor idle valve ..still no help...

use computer check ..no error code display.


pls help wat else parts problem ?

Could be fuel filter is clogged or dirty….happened to my old Kancil many years ago…after changing that filter, no more sudden death on the road

The sensor beside air fillter..mine got problem the car die while idle..some times when auto to 2 gear the gearbox jerk...

Yes...try plug in more tight for more secure reading to the ecu..
Ah yes forget to tell u...try see any leak from the black hose. Any vaccum leak also will make the ecu wrong reading with other sensor...mine i change to silicone..old car with high heat inside engine no good for rubber hose...mine 16 year many have crack ..1st encounter was the hose..then aircond sensor tube broke(rm95)cannot glue back need to replace..the silicone hose cheap only rm3 per feet you only need max 12feet to replace all the hose.try repair the hose 1st

MAF sensor fault normally wont coz engine to stall, it will coz fuel ratio error.

With nowdays car with more sensor better send to workshop had them use odb2 computer check for u better

If no error code, u cant check anything.

if some hose crack ..the engine off may happened frequently?mine drive 2.~ 3days no problem ..but it can happen in any time ...

The fuel pump is weak maybe. Usual symptom is the car takes a longer time to crank and start. There are also possibilities the fuel filter is clogged.

no ..every time start ..very smooth ...
if engine off in driving ..gear shift to N ..start again then can move ..crank n start as normal ..no take longer time..

update ..last saturday ..,4man changed the O2 sensor ..4man drive saturday ..sunday ..monday ..
car running without suddenly engine off ..

just bring back the car today ..and will monitoring ...
