4man changed the 2nd hand o2 sensor ..want to confirm then only change new..
4man dont wantt simply change but problem remain ..

if want the best value for money, can try outsourcing it yourself at part store. a myvi, many shop sell the parts.

yes ..parts is cheap if buy own self ...but 4man not happy for just installation only ..

mine also got this issue, after self-check connector to the battery loose. battery terminal thinning don't know why. Tighten it by adding piece of plastic. temp fix only, now seems ok.

not sure what is your foreman, but my nearby workshop is ok if I bring all my parts.

already check the battery terminal ...very tight ..should be not this problem....

believe can go to workshop that get ECU Reader, can check which error, or need engine tuning

car sent in workshop again for 4man check and drive ..

Did the pomen scan with ODB2 then KNOW that the O2 sensor is faulty or he just say O2 sensor when the light is up?

Granted, old MYVI does have O2 sensor issue but it is not always the car especially when engine die all of a sudden.

I think you need to send the car to another workshop for second opinion.

my O2 sensor with no problem , scan odb2 with no error code..
so 4man try change O2 sensor with engine icon light up and test see car still engine off when indriving or not.
4man don't want simply changed parts that not the culprit.

since they diagnose so long and without ask for money ..so will let them slowly check ...

your kind of case where the issue is not clear cut, it's best don't buy your own parts. you can check the price and negotiate with the workshop but let him earn a bit.

because if you buy the part and it's faulty or not the problem part you need to settle the return yourself if can. some shops if install already cannot return. better let the workshop earn a bit but if not the problem then u no need to pay for that part they can take it out

actually shop earn many too for the parts...

Compressor and Alternator as low RPM this two buat kacau ... try off AC and see if it still happens
