People also forgot that Putrajaya Sentral is also nearby with ample parking space but the multi-storey parking is more expensive than MRT station parking and you need to walk more. Putrajaya Sentral MRT station also have parking too but it’s also first come first serve.

That is the whole purpose of MRT. It’s build so that people don’t need to drive to work to reduce congestion. People take MRT because they don’t want to be caught in the jam.

For cyberjaya, it’s actually doable as the bus is every 30 mins and quite punctual as Cyberjaya is not so jam. However, you will need to wait longer for bus to circle route and waiting for bus to come. I tried before. If drive to the station, the whole journey until home takes about 1 1/2 hour while taking bus need additional 1/2 hour.

Sohai...... Public transportation meant for those does not have transport.... If u got car... U can drive... If u dont want.. tu pasal u...

I've mentioned long time ago that we should have big underground stations that cover 1-2km with many exits for people to reach different destinations. Like HK and Japan. Malaysians are not lazy to walk, they can walk in shopping malls for hours. The problem is the heat, rain and lack of pedestrian walkway. With underground they can walk seamlessly to their destination safely and comfortably.

Of course, they will give all sorts of excuses that Malaysia is not suitable/no money/difficult to build underground stations.

- double park no issue, as long as u leave Ur phone number
- emergency brake la when u see people wanna merge in (signal on)
- opposite car drive on ur lane, (if have signal) , give way to them
- defensive driving mode, when u see car beside u, u already screen thoroughly and know what will happen next, including the unseen one
- no parking there so I need to drive, double park is a must, what else I can do ( but as long as I leave phone number then it's alright)

they expect people to take the bus, but the journey of the bus could take 30-40 mins, which for my own experience, is same as the MRT ride to reach my office LOL, drives there quicker, you can control your time, sometimes the bus not on time, or left.

the worst thing is when they buka puasa and you need to home, you can wait for 40mins at the station for them buka first then only they serve you.

You think our residential areas are within walking distance to the stations. I stay in Cyberjaya and I still need to drive 10 to 15 mins to either of the station. What you say is doable if you stay in city center and not taman perumahan in Malaysia.

If you choose to stay outskirt, don't complain about unable to walk to stations and need to take buses.

I don’t know about other areas but the Cyberjaya bus is quite punctual but they do need to follow their route and it will take longer. For me it was additional 1/2 hour only

That is why I say taking bus is doable and I occasionally do it. It’s just that you need to spend more time. That’s all. For those who complain, there are car parks at 2 difference stations which is just a few minutes away only. Those people who park roadside probably wanted free parking only but I think in this case there are ample space to build a car park at that station.
