did call sonyericsson call centre (malaysia) yesterday asking about this k850i when will be arrived at malaysia and the call centre guy say next week ,about the price the guy say i dont sir

i finally encountered a bug after using the phone for almost 3 weeks..
da messaging part would just blank out as in cant be accessed suddenly..it says operation failed...

any idea whr i can download da new firmware..need help...

The new firmware isn't released to public yet. Will be out in a week or so.

Have you tried reseting the phone?

It's normal for a newly launched phone to have bugs, it might take a few weeks or months before it is finally stable. I guess it's still a minor problem as you can still use it to make calls without any problems.

the prob isnt with making calls..
out of da blues, the messaging folder would get bugged..
its like tis, few days i can send, receive msgs n all..
then suddenly, cant open inbox, sent item, drafts..nothing...
its says operation failed...
tried restart dew times...wun work...keep hp off 4 10mins...aso wun work...
hv 2 do master reset...

susah lah if everytime hv 2 do master reset...all msg hilang..

if you can open the inbox right now save all your msg'es into the phonecard first then reset the phone.

i just noticed tis now..even with msges in my inbox, under manage msg, it shows 0 in all da folders...wonder y

in da begining, even mine was fine...1st attack happened arnd 2 weeks after purchase

sounds like a serious problem, harmeet15.

perhaps you can report to Sony Ericsson about it? then ask them to rush out a firmware to fix this problem.

any idea how do i go abt doing it?

wah had a problem already ka... just dreaming to buy it next week

i just called da sony centre...
they took da report n wud forward it 2 sony n get bac 2 me..
hopefully they do la..: )
