I rather use SE than Nokia. tongue.gif That's y i bought the k850i

Edit :

To take night pictures, just set the iso to 400 and use the best pic feature and hopes that ur hand wont get shaky while taking the pics, lol ( usually the default picture that it choose is pretty clear to me smile.gif ). Other than that, u need to take the pics up close in the dark +_+; seems like the shutter speed is pretty slow when taking the picture from a far like, 1.8 meters above (with flash on of course). :/ Wait for the firmware, ey?

Here are some examples of pic that i take using the k850i.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Pic 1 and 2 : Taken using iso 400 and best pic option. smile.gif

Pic 3 : Taken using iso 400, flash. See that we get dark picture when the object is around 1.8 meters above?

Pic 4 : Taken using the same setting as pic 3 but we get better picture when taking up close around 1.5 meters and less. But still, we still get dark pics.

This is just my two cents, correct me if i'm wrong smile.gif

how do we define whether it is 1.5 meters or 1.8 meters?

Erm, how to say this @_@ Distance from u and object, 1 3/4 depa (old math thing measurement) It should be around 1.5m - 1.7m. So budget lor around that measurement tongue.gif

QUOTE
how come BlackHowling's K850i perform not so well that i expected. hmm.gif

Like i say, there's a problem in the k850i shutter speed timing. Or, maybe becoz i'm suck sad.gif. Hope that the firmware will release soon, so we can decide the fate of k850i future from there. Anyway, nice pic u have there, org melaka juga ka? brows.gif

I think only the photographer will know it sweat.gif

I'm not a professional photographer, but i know some of the settings for certain situation coz i used to play my friend's DSLR. XD

OH! I forgot to mentioned that all the picture above were taken using 5 mega pixel.

QUOTE
,wich takes bettr fotos,k800i,k810i or k850i..coz i think da 3.2 mp cybrshotz take bettr fotos than da k850i..think those r much mo stable..

k800i is good, i admit. It's just that it didnt have photo fix like k850i and it's pretty bulky due to the camera. k810i got photo fix, but i don't like it's keypad X( So, i ended up buying k850i that have better keypad and better features. Some more, it use keypad for navigation, not joystick. smile.gif

Same with me. The day that i bought this phone, i go to the Sony Ericsson shop at KLCC. I ask one of the chinese female worker over there for ori set price.

me :k850i bila sampai?

worker : ori or ap?

me : ori.

worker : Stock tak sampai lagi la encik. AP dah release

me : ori bila sampai?

worker : maybe next 2 week. Around 2K+

me : oo. Takpe la. Thanks for the info.

After that, i call the seller of my phone to do C.O.D. Cannot wait any longer. rclxub.gif

So far my phone didnt gave me any problems YET. And.. i know why my picture blur before, coz i use ISO400 that produce too much noise, lol.

Good luck in buying the k850i, i'll be waiting here for any updates on it. tongue.gif

Today went to KLCC for the SE Roadshow, feel disappointed because they only have 1 K850i for demo, i saw many people's queue up to wait for the demo phone, so i no chance to test it.

Just to make sure they won't lose so many k850i, lol. That's why they show one unit only. After all, with this so many hypes about the phone floating around here, they sure risau one.!

Nice idea. Need to reconfirm it's original first, since there are some sellers that says he/she sell ORI phone, but actually its an AP sets. Beh. sad.gif

So AP sets can upgrade their firmware thru SEUS? I kinda need it if the image quality improves by it.

SE King 850i couldn't win the war with Nonsense 95 because it doesn't have VGA shooting. Most of all it's not a smartphone yet people like you waste your clicks to Sony Ericsson.

VGA shooting as in? Taking pics? K850i can do that.

G-Izzat : He did say "5 mega pixel comparison challengers are n95,LG KU990,samsumg g660 and sonny ericsson k850
and check which one is better"

Must be him posting the wrong link. XD Hmm nice review, SE needs to do something about their k850i's camera performance, or it will stay behind those other three contenders sad.gif

Reviews say there is a micro SD slot on the K850i.
Any owners care to clarify?

They're using the same slot. Just flip it over, for micro sd.

BTW..I have few question here..hope can get answer

1) What is the function of ISO setting on K850 camera?which is better setting is it 100,200,300 or 400?

2) Why mine got no Red Lighting from the flash when taking photo?my previous K850 has this features and what is this for(red light)??

3) Can this phone do "shake control" which is feature in w580?as i know it depends on the presence of accerometer which K850 got!

1) ISO 200 is my favourite. smile.gif

2) Red light is i think it will detects the object's distance from the camera. I think in k850i have this too, while using flash.

3) Do u mean stabilizer? Yes there are. If u mean the auto tilt from portrait to landscape feature, it have. But if shake that can change music tracks, no.

may i know u set your ISO setting to what?i cant understand the function of ISO.try to change at my k850 but cant see the different lorr.im noob using digital camera.i took some photo but got bluur

Higher ISO = more colour and noise (noise get depends on camera lens).

In this case, ISO 200 has been my standard setting as the colour u get is good, plus u can clean the noise easily using a denoising software, like Neat Image. ISO 100 fails as it has less colours. Oh, make sure u take at least 2-3 pictures when u turn off the flash, and prays that it won't blur due to your hand shaking.

EDIT:

To prove u this, http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/6476/dsc00479hf6.jpg is an example. I use ISO 200. leveled it using photoshop, and denoise it using Neat Image 5.2.
