my fren told me that he get his slim psp at singapore around 450 ringgit..don't know true or not..anyway CFW 3.80 M33 out now..just update it

i guest most of the psp stocks are getting from singapore
small things easier to hide from customs

btw penang psp price is hell expensive

got mine (3.71 M33-4) slim ice silver for rm860...

is it true that 3.80 M33 already out?

wht's mean of MS?
So if I buy a PSP, I should take the firmware with MS version or have to use the original UMD disc?

Cus I had ask the seller for sony shop, they said If I use the firmware with MS version will not be allow repair in sony shop? izzit true?

and then I had ask the shop tat I want to buy my PSP
1st use the firmware with MS version
2nd use the original firmware but have to buy 1 original cd to run the 1st game then just can play the game from MS

Well, the seller told me that i can claim warranty from Sony (JB)/Malaysia if i wanted to (highly doubt), or bring it back to them.
And yeah, it is with those custom firmware ......

AFAIK, the shops in Holiday Plaza often take stocks from Singapore ...

So price in KL/LYN is RM800+ eh ..... looks like there is something good about JB now ... lol

The upgrading process was problem-free. The trouble comes after the upgrading is complete. I can no longer find my games and saved games data on my PSP's menu even though the files are still on my Memory Stick.

After I did some reading online I found out that on firmware 3.80, Sony decreased the size of FAT driver for the Memory Stick from 185KB to 95KB (to make room for new features perhaps) and they might have screwed something up.

My Memory Stick is formatted to FAT, and it might explain why I can no longer see my games and saved games in the PSP's menu. After I reformatted my Memory Stick to FAT32, everything was back to normal.

Also, you can't play PS1 games on 3.80. Current Popsloader (PS1 emulator) is not compatible with 3.80 yet, have to wait till Popsloader written for 3.80 released.

So, if you don't want to use FAT32 formatting for your Memory Stick (some people say that FAT is faster than FAT32, I didn't notice any difference) or play PS1 games, don't upgrade to firmware 3.80.
