yeah it works the same for fat and slim even the fat have less memory than slim version. I think, the extra memory for slim only to help the game load faster if u play game with umd disc.

hi people.. would like to ask..

is it true that psp can play ps1's games? is it smooth? it would be great if it's true! i would be utmost glad to play the biohazard series on the go! and is it worth it to buy a psp now? since it has been 3 yrs.. any new device similiar releasing soon?

PS: i googled b4.. but i couldn't find a proving answer for this as i don't own a psp yet. and the youtube videos, not sure whether they edit it.

Technically you don't have to download any homebrew emulator anymore like the old days..

As the new firmware just requires you to create your PS1 game from disc to an eboot file via a program.. and put that folder on the PSP / GAME folder..

Hope you have fun with your new PSP..

Cheers.. !! laugh.gif

Try this.
Press Select once in the menu page, you'll see a little pop-up thingy appear on the screen.
Change both CPU CLOCK XMB & CPU CLOCK GAME to 333/166, and try the game and see still got any lag issue or not.
If still got, fully off your PSP, then go into Recovery Menu(hold R and on the power).
Under CPU Speed page, change both Speed in XMB & Speed in UMD/ISO to 333.
That's all I can help.
If still can't, then must be either your game's problem, or *touch wood* your PSP's problem already.
