True true.. unless you can stretch your budget for the 8gb ones.. hahaha laugh.gif

For now the 4gb should be the best purchase.. thumbup.gif

Not sure.. looks trustworthy since Mr. Shiney dealt with him before..

But then again the information given is very vague.. didn't mention what region or what colors are there to choose to begin with.. laugh.gif

Don't see much difference between the fat and slim version of the PSP in terms of loading time if you're running on MMC.. but if you're using UMD to play your game... it will be quite different when you want to load games such as WWE Smackdown or GTA series..

It doesn't matter if you're using FAT or FAT32..

Some homebrew games may lag during gameplay depending on it's compatibility towards the software..
The FAT or FAT32 issue is only for the slowdown seen sometimes such as some game's cutscene etc.

And no.. RAM does not help much except when you're running UMD games.. (as shown in youtube in a demonstration between PSP Fat and Slim on Final Fantasy : Crisis Core)

Didn't play Fifa08 yet.. ( support Winning Eleven tongue.gif ) But it runs smooth on Winning Eleven and other games.. But I do notice that some games will of course be quite laggy such as DJ Max Portable 2 during in-game.. Not perfect I guess..

I guess it's not so perfect and loading time for movies are slow / big size movie lags sometimes too..

Also, when you turn on the PSP from sleep mode, the detection speed takes about a few seconds slower if the MMC is not formatted correctly..

In any case.. just format the MMC before using it for anything !! laugh.gif

Technically you don't have to download any homebrew emulator anymore like the old days..

As the new firmware just requires you to create your PS1 game from disc to an eboot file via a program.. and put that folder on the PSP / GAME folder..

Hope you have fun with your new PSP..

Cheers.. !! laugh.gif
