they're located at tourist spot though laugh.gif

can always try the one outside of tourist spot...it's as good

All those places did not start off as tourist spots.
They became tourist spots when many tourists go there and boosted their sales.

Nowadays there are many food bloggers in youtube travelling everywhere to do vlogs.
After watching their videos many tourists also go to those places.

Originally those are local places, but once it goes on the Internet, it becomes a tourist spot.

U really kebodohan terselah. Contradict urself in ur own post. Says not talking about price then goes on to say ahbeng charge same price as authentic food vendor

Are u saying ah beng open shop in pavillion need to charge lower than authentic food vendor that open in the normal shoplot?

Topkek genius!
*
ah so ni mmg next lvl unintelligent n brain works like nerd

isnt ‘mainly’ not totally not talk about it, while i am talking about the price i tend to imply that many food vendors should know their worth, or at least the very common food they serving should be within what price range, many chau ah beng cook mediocre shit food, just like 10 years old kid cook maggi mee at home add on some sides like fishball n crabmeat tht bought from econsave, then come out rent small gerai in food court n sell mediocre foods yet has the gut to sell at the price same as those who cook truly good unique taste real food operating in a shop or restaurant.

n out of nowhere u come up with such silly n irrelevant example what ah beng open shop in pavillion charge lower blablabla

when bonehead like u failed to get the simplest straight forward point in the first place, i am the one pulak hv to stoop to ur low shit lvl n play ur stupid game with u, susah la

Ipoh is memang overpriced and overhyped even when you move away from the cutthroat touristy areas.

BTW, no Ipoh person I know goes to Lou Wong or Onn Kee chicken with beansprouts la. The “hot” one now seems to be Sam Ma in Ipoh Garden but even that is so-so, mainly because they can’t really handle the crowds.

I just call them and pick up. Can skip the queue. But sometimes the quality is spotty when they’re too busy.

Nowadays price hike in rounded figure, some do it 50sen, most round it to nearest RM1 so no need hassle of changing coins..... doh.gif

This.

In Kuching, Swk laksa was RM6 early last year. This time around, the same stall (and all others) are selling at RM8. That's >30% rise.
