I went to Perlis during CNY holiday and the food price has little different compare with Selangor area standard.
Only RM1~3 diff if is noodle, nasi ayam. Drinks is RM1~2 diff

no money don't buy.

Thats what happens when u have many influencers overhyping up a certain place when even the food is not nice. Many years ago ipoh food was decent. But now really not nice at all and prices have gone up due to the high volume of tourists. Once one shop increases their prices, every other shop will follow suit. Every single dim sum i tried in Ipoh suck so bad.

The same goes to penang. Lousy food but overhyped up by influencers.

ipoh people getting ricer with better business, duno why still complain.. takan want stay "backward" like some states in the east coast off penisular malaysia.

Not everyone benefit directly from tourism. Wage earners in Ipoh get peanut pays only.

Those pre amd post sale margin taken before a cinaman (any seller of any race) touches anything, is cost woi🙄🙄

talk like as if only you know this kind of general biz knowledge, when people only specifically talk about certain cost but sendiri lagi bodo think people take food raw ingredients as the only cost tsk

I think Ipoh people now know how JB locals feel.

while not all ipoh food taste good, but i can say most KL foods n even drinks pun taste like shiat, overrated, overpriced still kl lang: yummmm fair price n michelin taste
