I think we did quite well considering how good arsenal is this season. They did not really dominate the game until like last the 15 mins or so.

This is not about simply giving playing time for fringe players anymore.
It is a must to rest at least half of the lineup team against Nottingham.
All of them is too tired.

Further more, EFL semi final is 2 legs.
Even lost, have 2nd leg at home to turn things around.

Casemiro can play, since he rested against Arsenal.
Malacia, Garnacho, Fred must replace Shaw, Rashford, Eriksen.
Other positions, Ten Hag really need to make a choice.

United
Season 22/23
20 games: 39 points
Season 21/22
20 games: 37 points
Season 20/21
20 games: 40 points

So far minimal point progressions with better players.. same stuff different marketing..

Arsenal
Season 22/23
19 games: 50 points
Season 21/22
19 games: 35 points
Season 20/21
19 games: 27 points

Newcastle
Season 22/23
20 games: 39 points
Season 21/22
20 games: 11 points
Season 20/21
20 games: 19 points

Newcastle point progression so far is highly impressive.. and they are low key about it..
From a relegation battler last season to 3rd spot as of now..
Eddie Howe are doing it with the likes of Joe Willock, Fabian Schaar, Joelinton, Jamal Lewis and Sean Longstaff..

Yea thats because we werent pinning the fullbacks back with Garnacho or Pellestri, thats why Zinchenko can be so far forward to be involved in the goal. I am annoyed that we didnt try to go for the win.

He did very well nullifying martinelli already... Cannot everything also blame him lol... Midfield without a world class cdm reli alot of difference... Technical wise... This is why the non injured partey revitalize arsenal bolos ing midfield... Mctom is no where near there... And erikssen, susah... He is playing at his limit with his mechanical heart... 3 matches he also starting first 11

Things were good when Antony still in the field. He and AWB both closed down opponent left side, leaving Saka there to attack only but changed when Antony got yellow and seems don’t dare to press or mark Zinchenko, this given Zinchenko room to roam forward when Antony was subbed off with Fred as Bruno always like to move into central area. We all know AWB weakness always been 2 vs 1, where he don’t know who to make. The built up before the goal, try reply that again, Varane already instruct AWB to mark Zinchenko but he opt to marked Trossard. Yes, best is to put Pellestri or Elanga on the right to help AWB but ETH did not do that

McTom we all know he alone cannot play DM even with someone beside him, his weakness always awareness, first half his instruction was quite cleared, we can see most of the time he charge forward and standing quite same position like Bruno and his job was to man marked Xhaka while Eriksen sit back and mark Odegaard which I think already good given he and McTom able to limit both Xhaka and Odegaard.

Waghorst, this game really can see he was playing like attacking midfield with defense role, he put on tackling, interceptions where hardly any other central forward will do.

As the score still tied at 2-2, most managers, maybe add in Conte or even Mourinho will sub in more defensive players to get the 1 point but our boss still want to control the possession

I understand Danjuma was already with the Everton squad and had done media work ahead of signing the documents but the sacking of Lampard as Everton manager played a big part in changing his mind.
Suddenly the manager he agreed with is gone and he was on the brink of signing for a manager-less club, no guarantee that any new manager would play him.

Spurs jumped on it.

Their recent form has been good tho, we expose them from the start with wide vs their narrow formation. But our defense was shaky also, allowed them a lot of chances.

Good result, we can rotate for the return leg. With FA Cup coming, the glimpse of Sancho will be much welcome.
