The responsibility to be honest and without any mistake now lies on the customer, case will be recorded on customer mistake of not scanning or flagged as stealing if multiple times it happens. Worst when it become police case.

I've heard rumors of theft cases in Tesco before, but most of them dont prosecute. their management is quite kind.

I feel quite pissed too, looking at people queueing up like crazy during CNY when the solution is so simple.
