I'm not encouraging people to steal in any way, just curious on the business decisions they made to implement such feature. Was the risk calculated?
I agree that they should combine it, but maybe its better to keep it separate for now until it reaches a certain level of maturity and fine tuning before merging them. Not too sure whats the reasoning from the developers and management.

i dunno man. most cashier, they check first how many items checked in system and how many stuff you have in hands/bag.

maybe their risk management/recovery team already calculate the data depends on which lotus branch.

if place A got many theft, the security will be tighter, CCTV, etc
