This is the TLDR guys
Someone mentioned birthday code? That one how get? I don't have Samsung Pay, any suggestion to redeem the point?
*
Birthday code is exactly as it says. If you didn't receive this then you're probably not registered with Samsung to receive promotions or you're not eligible.

If you don't use Samsung Pay you won't have points to redeem anyway so you can forget about this too.

If you didn't register your interest you won't receive the RM 200 roi code.

Basically what I'm saying is none of these things will be sent without action from your end.

Your best bet is to use the codes from news sites.

then i can trade in my iphone 7 plus and xr for Galaxy watch 5... icon_rolleyes.gif

No lah boss. I added a new post after that. Multiple devices trade in not available on the website yet.

Also you don't get a RM 600 rebate for wearables during trade in. That's only for S series.

if trade in all my note from1 to 20ultra... berapa dapat agaknya. hahaha.

but going to lost my collection. T_T
*
Probably not much. Note 1 to 4 is not on the list. Starts from Note 5 onwards.

RM 600 rebate only available if purchased through the online store and multple device trade in is not available online yet. Even if it were available, I don't think you will be getting RM 600 rebate for each device traded in.

Note 5 to 20 all combined probably 3k I guess? I feel this trade in offer is only good if you have a really banged up device with 0 value. Nowhere else will anyone give you RM 600 for something that doesn't work.

You sell a working device on Garage Sales can fetch you more.

I'm so tempted to buy but when saw some of you getting at 4.7k, I don't feel like getting at 5699. Wish I had my edu account in active state hahaha.

Apart of rm 200 voucher any other promo codes available ?
*
Time to take out all your old junk devices and see which one can trade in for an additional RM 600 rebate.

Is samsung screen protector good? Seen like many people is waiting for it.
*
It's just a piece of plastic. You're better off using the e-voucher to get something else than waste RM 69 on that.

If anyone is still interested in buying this, the RM 200 ROI code is suddenly working again on the website.

You mean the lowyat soyacincau etc codes?
*
I think so. I didn't try those from publications. I think there is limit to how many times these codes can be used. You can give it a shot.

I got mine directly from Samsung when I registered my interest in the S23 series about 2 months ago.

Btw do u all know Samsung care is not insurance? It's just something Samsung provide, you still have to pay for screen or battery replacement, albeit much lesser.
*
QUOTE(jonthebaptist @ Mar 6 2023, 04:19 PM)
This is called co-pay or co-sharing, it's to prevent "moral hazard" as in you simply claim as you like.
*
Also Samsung Care+ does not mean you can repair the phone as many times as you like. Once you exhaust the max repair value, that's the end of the contract, regardless of how much time is remaining.

Don't know real or fake. I don't care about the pen but that price for S23+ is tempting haha
*
It is still possible to get it at 3899 by trading in a device and using the ROI code if you registered for one last time. This is for 256 GB though.

I'm still thinking whether to proceed or not.

+1

I can't find it either. Only see the promo for McD ice cream, Samsung stick vaccum etc

Using Note9 just in case it's phone specific  tongue.gif

but I think I've made up my mind to get the S23 Plus. Haven't bought the phone but ordered the Spigen Liquid Air Case already, and was wondering if anyone had suggestion for privacy screen protector ?
*
Yeah sorry guys I just checked it on my phone, its still there but on my wife's phone, there is no Raya promo listed. I guess it is account specific.

I can't give away the code since I've already used it.

Does anyone have wifi connection issue with S23U? My wifi at home is pretty unstable, it went back and forth between good and bad connection/speed so my S23U have connect/disconnect a few times and sometimes connected but with no internet. I have Nothing phone but somehow doesn't have similar issue even with the unstable wifi.
*
Are you using Wi-Fi 6?

Don't buy telco set. It's not worth the hassle and there's no way you can protect yourself against this.

just wondering, how are you guys and your charging habit?

Sometimes my phone 30-40%, I charge for awhile up to 70%, etc and go out. In my car, have a wireless car charger/holder which also charges the phone.

This habit will cause battery deterioration right? Then again, I saw video the battery is easily replaceable.. hmmm
*
That won't cause battery deterioration. Old batteries from a couple of decades ago will have that issue but the modern rechargeable Li-ion batteries don't have this weakness. You'll be fine charging it at random intervals.

The only thing I read about battery deterioration is from heat due to fast charging but the S23 series has pathetic fast charging anyway, it doesn't generate enough heat to cause any concern.

Don't think so much about the battery, just use it, charge it and enjoy it. Worst case scenario you'll have to replace your battery 3 years later for RM 200+. That's nothing to worry about.

Ahhh cos most reviews are saying the phone batt could last for 2 to 2.5 days depending on usage. Was thinking why mine could not even hit the 24-hour mark. Maybe i'm considered as a heavy user with the 7 hours+ SOT within 24 hours. And i'm on LTE, doesnt even turn on 5G. Will test the SOT with 5G this weekend.
*
7 hours is a good result for your SOT.

A lot of reviews don't mention the variables that influence the SOT like:

How many times you turn your screen on and off
What background apps are running
Bluetooth/GPS/NFC usage
AOD
Signal strength
Apps they use
Etc...

There are too many to consider and most of these reviewers are only reviewing it for the sake of reviewing it. None of them really test it long term to give you a rough idea and those who do never ever mention what they use it for. Its always the same rehashed script that is probably shared with all reviewers out there.

Don't worry so much about the SOT. As long as the battery doesn't die on you at 1 PM while you're stuck in traffic in a weird place using GPS while trying dial emergency numbers calling for help and your favourite gacha game has a free 100 pull guaranteed 5 star limited for 5 minutes only, you're probably fine.

Samsung website is having 10% off for new accounts, stackable with the RM 500/1000 off for S23+/Ultra models for father's Day and the RM 600 trade in.

That's a truck ton of discount there.

no more 10pc discount today.
noticed yesterday was available.
*
The 10% discount thing is not a father's day promotion. It was just a 2 day promotion for new users.

Btw the way it works is strange, if you have added something to the cart and proceeded to check out, it is considered as one purchase even if you did not make the payment at the end. Probably a bug on the website.
