Yea, lowest storage always tends to get offer

That day saw Harvey Norman listed RM2.9k for S23 256GB but then no stock >.<
Wait till end of sales still tell me no stock  doh.gif

If you have an education account, you can buy S23 256GB for about 3k now.

It's on discount at RM 3359 and you can deduct another 300 buy trading in an old device.

I managed to snag a S23+ 256GB for 3.1k after trade in and reward points.

only 128GB selling at 2499.
*
Those S23 128GB selling for 2499 are from not from official distributors. They will unbox and register the warranty for you and seal it back with generic white seal sticker.

If you decide to proceed with them, take note that the warranty start date will vary. If you're lucky, it will be from the date your purchased it, otherwise it will be much earlier, sometimes up to half a year earlier. Read through the reviews before going through with these type of sellers.

No doubt the item is authentic and the price is very tempting but the discount isn't worth it when you stand to lose out on a lot of the warranty period. There are also cases where customers report that the device has been used before. Consider yourself warned.

Relax bro... if you can get it at 21xx, I think better than you buy at 2.7k or even higher lor. Samsung candybar has been pretty solid for the past few years.
*
The 2.1k for S23 128GB is actually from official distributors as some from here have bought before.

Best to wait for those deals. While the S series has been solid, it also has its fair share of failures so don't discount the importance of warranty over cheaper price. If it's just a few weeks difference that's still acceptable.

You'll also be happy to know Exynos will be making a come back for the S24 and Malaysia is very likely to be blessed by this possibly pile of crap of a processor.

saw some good deals with base s23 but read that unlocking bootloader kills knox, still the same case?
*
Yes it still trips Knox, there's no way to reverse it once that happens.

What's the best place to buy S23+ 512GB now?

Is this MOBILE GADGETS I Lazada & Shopee trusted?

They selling for RM3,899, official website is RM5,199.
RM1,309 difference.
*
Based on the reviews, they have a good reputation for selling authentic products but if you dig further into the review, you'll notice there are complaints about the warranty start date.

Some of the reviews mention it starting more than half a year before they purchased the products. It's possible that these sellers are activating the device to receive incentives for sales. If warranty is not a criteria for you then it's as cheap as it gets.

But did the seller open the box and power up the phone?
*
Yes they will unbox and possibly power on. There are a lot of review photos with a generic white sticker pasted on top of a broken Samsung seal.

hi everyone! what was roughly the lowest price for s23 plus 256 GB? just need to understand what should be considered as a good price during next sales on Shopee and lazada
*
There's an authorized reseller on Lazada already selling 512 GB for less than 4k.

512gb cheaper than 256.... wow....  hmm.gif

Might be a bug, its cheaper than SES Edu price but since it is a Lazmall store, I think its worth buying from at this price.

Hye, currently using One UI 6.0 based on Android 14.

At the same time, i am using Google One; so under its Photo app, it seems that the "Tool" for magic eraser, portrait ; never appear.

Does anyone experience the same; with their current UI 5.0 ?
I'm on OneUI 5.1 all those options are available on Google Photos.

QUOTE(Eugene91 @ Sep 27 2023, 10:28 AM)
I thought those features are only for Pixel phones? Even then not all Pixel phones support all the "tool".
*
I think you have to be a Google One subscriber to have access to those functions in Google Photos. It's definitely not limited to Pixel phones only.

1.7k is opt for the 128GB ?

Am also considering wanna get or not (changing form my Flip 3) though i don't really like Exynos variant
But so far the review macam quite good.

I wonder how that 5% first time purchase works, i'm an old samsung member already who bought quite a number of products from Samsung online store XD

Probably will visit Senheng to see what price my Flip 3 can worth trade in (RM695 now based on their online brochure : LINK)
*
The 5% first time purchase is for new accounts or accounts that have not made any purchases through Samsung online.

You can just create a new account to take advantage of the 5% discount but if you have Samsung points, you won't be able to utilize it.

guys..my s23u got no samsung logo at the back. only got emei no. bought from samsung shop with edu account.
*
I don't think it's anything to worry about, you're definitely not the only one with this issue. Do a quick Google search and you'll find a lot of posts o. Samsung's official forums mentioning this, going as far back as the S20 series.

As long as the IMEI number checks out you should be fine. Also try using apps like Samsung members to run a diagnostic to verify the authenticity.

guys, izzit vanilla s23 snapdragon is recommended compared to s24 exynos? if consider can get about the same price,i'm in dilemma now, need to decide asap by today since its 4.4 sale
*
If they're really at the same price, the S24 Exynos will be a better choice. Despite how good people say SD is, the Exynos in the S24 is still way ahead of the SDG2 in the S23 in terms of performance.

There are some concerns about it heating up more than the SD counterpart and using a bit more battery in most if not all tasks but if your comparison is for an older model, its no contest really. This is before you think about the amount of software support, bigger screen, tougher chassis purportedly, improved camera performance etc...

Do you really want to buy an older phone at the same price as a newer device?

i put on routine at 11pm daily till 7 the next morning. eg. battery saver. 11pm got 75% but 7 am wake up left 48%.in one ui 6.0 the battery level hardly dropped for this routine.
*
Does it show what is draining the battery in the usage?

I've not noticed any difference of battery drain before and after 6.1.

How to use Routine to set battery protection %? Can you share the steps?

Thanks!
*
Create 2 routines with the same conditions in the screenshot. The Edge lighting effect is optional.

Change the battery percentage to the amount you like but I think it can't be lower than 80%, otherwise the battery protection won't start.

You can create the routines by going into Settings > Modes & Routines > Routines

RM85 is for the labor fee. The replacement itself is free but it will not be done on the spot. Takes a few days.
