QUOTE(edan1979 @ Sep 19 2025, 03:21 AM) all phone kind of feel the same nowadays... all stagnant. Look at the bright side, because there is hardly any improvement especially in the camera area, we can kill the thought about needing to upgrade. Save money. p.s. Now the only thing that may prompt my upgrading is battery life.

QUOTE(touristking @ Sep 19 2025, 09:52 AM) You think Apple has big improvement? Or same slow-slow same-same like Samsung? I would say almost stagnant as well. But we hardly heard of any hardware issues such as back cover popping out or green line issue etc. Software updates are consistent and uniform across all models of iphones. Unlike Samsung who deliberately delayed the oneUI 7 to boost the s25 sales. The gap between the 2 platforms is slowly disappearing. Samsung and google are trying to be apple. Might as well get the real one.

QUOTE(craxors @ Sep 20 2025, 09:50 AM) but no more dex for pc.Ā If I already have a PC, why would I want to use DEX? My usage. I get a cheap kosong monitor instead of a laptop (full of private data and sensitive info etc) when traveling. AFAIK, beside Samsung, Huawei has similar function as DEX but not buying Huawei for obvious reasons. So Samsung it is This post has been edited by touristking: Sep 20 2025, 05:01 PM

Heck, I would rather take my mini pc (Intel N97) out on vacation and connect them to the tv rather than using Samsung DEX. I think Android can try as much as they like to emulate a pc but when it comes to true x86 support, Android is nowhere. It is merely a wannabe for people to access Google/MSFT services on the go and if you dont use these, chances are DEX is pretty useless.

So good enough for me.

QUOTE(wong_86 @ Sep 21 2025, 06:33 PM) RM210, samsung service centre That's kinda pricy for official battery from Samsung SC If compared to china brand much cheaper to change and also sometimes got service days each month for labor charge waived (Example is Xiaomi poco battery replacement just around rm80 without labor cost)
