My IMEI was invalid initially. Then i had to choose other model (which is higher spec than my actual phone), and change my billing address the same as trade-in postcode. Then it manage to calculate the trade-in value.
So later will it become an issue since my actual phone IMEI only manage to match with the model with higher spec in samsung database?
Yes there will be an issue.
But as Consumer and
Rakyat, we have the rights to proceed as the system error is beyond of our control.
me
ow advise is to
take all the screenshots in the trade-in process.
When the InstaCash Agent arrived and realised that their system error is due to IMEI mis-match (
which is legit and happening as of today and
meow is recording this event to viral it when necessary), they should acknowledge and proceed with the trade-in process. Else, u can open case with
e-Tribunal. The best scenario is, the IC Agent will record ur trade-in as "Rejected by Customer" and u can keep ur device and enjoy ur 512 S23U non-Lime as usual.
