My production manager previously worked at giant. The biggest problem is internal pilferage and when caught they have the cheek to reply "not your company, why kisah so much"

Maybe the hypermarket kuli is different from jaya grocer kuli. Kompeni kecil senang urus.

They would probably open a new supermarket once one grab fucks up jaya........who knows. Big and rich doesn't mean good in market retail

The fact that the tengs kept on opening new supermarkets after selling their established supermarket chains demonstrates something......even carrefour came and left and tesco became whatever it is now....seems like there's some secret sauce somewhere

but is it by average?
few item cheaper doesnt mean much, we all know that giant grey import oil is very cheap wan.

they got replaced by others. also because their quality drop. the 'fresh' food section terrible and selection are bad.

But jaya is actually not the whole teng family but one of the teng jer.

problem is NSK, Econsave are smelly. Giant and Lotus too far from my home. So most of the time buy at speedmart (complaint: limited brand) and my wetgood from pasar tani (after weekend jog)
