Poco F3
One day, i play genshin impact while charging, then suddenly it auto restart (Could it be sudden overheat issue causing something inside broken?).
The port now cannot connect to PC, vibration become weird, game will freeze and auto restart while charging+playing.
I try to repair outside, the technician do some testing change the port but still same problem.
They said want charge me RM300+ if want check full phone + fix, they said it might be flash IC problem.

Does any of this models have same function like Samsung DeX?
1) Need to connect to TV via HDMI and use it as media player -> see youtube on big TV or play suduko etc.
2) Need to connect it to laptop via USB cable and use it as phone as a chrome book.

Yeah so they already cannibalize RN12PP anyway, maybe some users didn't notice so they buy the latest newest thing or they want OIS + headphone jack.

So 11T also cannibalize Poco X5 Pro at RM1400 now we have F5 lagi, wonder about F5 Pro price now haha. Unfortunately both cameras is the same sensor/size as the older Poco F4.

Try to ask official Xiaomi service centre first, their repair service is fast and immediate for the outlet in Seremban, done within 2 hours. Compared to Klang Valley service centre where need to wait 2 days.

Nope, stick to Samsung, Huawei has better DeX function than Samsung, but unless you are willing to switch to a phone without Google Play Services, you are better choosing Samsung flagship in Malaysia 😅

You need to get free Lazada Bonus on Lazada mobile app to get RM1325 price (price until May 9th). If desktop Lazada, the Xiaomi 11T is RM1470.

Of course, some retailers could also sell it for cheaper, since I was too lazy to properly search for lowest price 😛

F5 Pro really not worth it, considering the main sensor downgraded to same OV64B as F4 and F5. And F5 Pro much heavier than F5 without offering better battery life. They both have same size 6.67" Display but F5 Pro is WQHD+ which is heavier and more bezel, and F5 is FHD+ with really near bezel less design. Not to mention F5 got the headphone jack back, while F5 Pro no headphone jack.

Only situation I think F5 Pro maybe more worth it is if the same storage is only RM50 more expensive than F5.

Oh haven't used Laz for a long time.

F5 Pro has wireless charging, hard to find in this price range unless going for old flagship or refurbished/used, but yeah the same old Omni sensor isn't nice, but I suppose it is a good phone for gaming.

Yeah, F5 Pro is for the gamers with its Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
Poco F5 Pro has two important competitors of its price range in Malaysia, the Xiaomi 12T (Dimensity 8100) with the better camera, and the Nothing Phone 1 (Snapdragon 778G) with the much better camera. The general public who prefers camera could look at those compared to F5 Pro, and not to mention the Xiaomi 12T and Nothing Phone (1), both have 2 year warranty if bought in Malaysia.

Well games usually more optimized for Snapdragon, and SD can use gcam for better photos.

Nothing Phone 1 is kinda dated already with 778G and price still higher than other 778G phones, its camera is only the same as A54, and worse than RN12PP according to Dxomark, RN12PP cam is only slightly worse than 12T's cam. Not much worth it unless you like the brand/LED.

Cheapest best camera phone still is Pixel 6a (RM1200-RM1300) but unfortunately only imported set in Msia and no local warranty, I suppose F5 Pro added wireless charging to compete with Pixel 7a which also added wireless charging, though the price is still unsure.

Do I need to buy a 6gb RAM phone or 8gb RAM? I see so there is are options in many Redmi or Mi or Poco lineups. dunno what to choose.
Currently my iphone 14 and s9+ only 6gb and its easy cause can't choose.

android needs more ram so at least 8gb for me or 12gb even better
