yes but you'll burn your hand
you can use your shirt too, but it might introduce lint into it

hmmm apparently it seems that the heavy users are the one facing this problem
cause mine also have the same prob, but after the cleaning its fixed
so i highly suggest u do the cleaning
read the first post, under DIY Opening and Cleaning
did for mine and it feels much much smoother now

Of course not when it's spinning at 10k lah tongue.gif When already slowed down, but I'm not that patient to grip it until it stops, I'll just stop it using my fingers. So it's okay right to stop it (with fingers/shirt/anything)? I'm gonna try to open up in the afternoon.

Wow... 11499. That's good. Try using both hands to get high speed. For me, I am off as my wrist injury is getting worse after playing it. Kekekeke. Now, I got to use my wrist guard again.
Anyway, I can get thumb start with every few tries now. My left wrist injury is making it more difficult as I can't use my left thumb to flip or hold it tight when my right thumb flip.

I guess we have to bear with the wear and tear. It is just a ball made of plastic. What can we expect? No matter how good is the ball bearing, it still uses the plactic as th rail. Sooner or later, it will wear off.

Wrist injury you have to go slow sweat.gif Wear and tear is a definite situation, but...it's only 1 week old laugh.gif

u can yes, but u have to clean it often then smile.gif
just refer to my guide infront and if u do it right it'll feel much smoother

no worries about wear and tear cause after a while, if the ring or the plastic sphere wears out to the point its very very unplayable, just request for a free replacement part! thumbup.gif

Oh about that, we just send them a photo and that'll be sufficient? No need to post it to them? flex.gif

i personally no experience with the part request, but i think perhaps u need some photos to show the defect area
best is for u to just email them at the given email and they'll guide you thru on what to do smile.gif

but i advice you to get familiar with opening and maintaining your powerball first
it'll definately help to get to know what are the parts in your powerball, and what causes what problem

if after u've cleaned the tracks, and tried sandpapering the tracks and it still gives vibration, then you must check whether is the polycarbonate ring bent or cracked, or whether the mount holes are enlarged

if not, then check the rotor for cracks

Get a high pressure air source, remove the counter and while the rotor is spinning at around 5k, blast the air jet into the top of the ball - this will serve to dislodge the plastic dust that has built up inside the cavity (alternatively, open the ball in a small vice and clean it out with a soft dry cloth)
After you have done this, continue to use the ball as normal, except making sure that it is always held firmly until the rotor has stopped.

This one tongue.gif

Just hit only man...no worry... tongue.gif the powerball is strong enough to withstand ur 'powerhand' force ^^ cool2.gif

Quote from powerball india faq:
"The one thing to remember: there is no actual way for you to break this product during the procedure (unless you jump down on it from a ladder or a second floor window, neither of which we actually recommend you try! :-).

The outer shells of your Powerball are manufactured from high impact plastic and will flex considerably before actually breaking. By applying your weight in a quick slam motion like this, you are simply pressurising the shell to pop apart as you would with a vise."
