Johnny depp is so talented. The girl(who also acted in fight club) don't know her name, also damn good!

Helena Bonham Carter is engaged to Tim Burton, and they have a kid together
If you guys notice, she acted in a lot of Tim Burton's movies before, e.g. Corpse Bride, Planet of the Apes
She looks scary in the movie, but certainly not airport la sweat.gif

I need the original OST sad.gif

I thought the movie was only alright la. The singings were good but when they overdid it on certain parts it kinda got boring. Nice twist in the end too.

It's okay 'lar' the movie.... =) but when i watched it on the first day of release i think, halfway thru the movie, many people left! I guess it's more of a musical/deeper type of movie.... so not many people appreciate such movies haha .... =.= so anyway yeah... =)

Watched it today... it's so straight forward that I knew what was going to happen from beginning till the end. What I was hoping for is that the musical would be good... turns out it falls flat for me. One of the reasons would be... it's not compose by Danny Elfman.

What I don't understand is... the movie could have been better but the lyrics just doesn't stood up well. After watching this movie, I realize so many censorship in this movie... I mean, the censor of slitting throats turns me off the most. Rambo hardly any censor at all and the violence over there is even worse than Sweeny.

Still, this is not Tim Burton I know... maybe I'm used to his old ways... but then, changing one part of it fails a movie not of style but of how a director show his vision to the audience... just like what Michael Bay did for Pearl Harbor...

Kind of a disappointment for me cos I read about the real Sweeney Todd years prior to this movie and its a must-watch for me when I saw the poster. Storyline's absolute bollocks but again its Johnny Depp's acting that really got me watching. Tim Burton shouldnt have changed the real Sweeney Todd's profile. Its kinda lame that a serial killer from history suddenly becomes someone obsessed with seeing his wife and daughter. Ending is so damn loose that they never tell what happened to Joanna after that. But the songs are good =) . This, is the real Sweeney Todd:
