oK...it was musical, perhaps too musical at 1am in the morning (hehe..the only time I got watch movies on my plasma tv)...but it was good...I didn't know musicals can be that good

I didn't like the ending.
But overall I enjoy it and like the song. Great performance by Helena. Depp's voice sound a bit modern to be singing those songs, but his vocal is superb. I think he's better than most of the singer out there. |

watched it yesterday. good movie, not that great though. definitely overrated. the songs are really boring and generic.

erm...this filem not bad la..
actually im going to watch cloverfield on 2day... but ends up by watching sweeney todd.... erm....not bad....jd make me fall in love with him man...^^ n.....the ending not bad mah...so yeng n yet romantic....(althought is abit bloody) |

just watch the movie last night...i like the tim burton's style of movie. one look, you can tell there is similarities between Edward Scissorhands, batman and beetlejuice. and at one time there is even a spoof for beetlejuice "starring" johnny depp in beetlejuice's costume!
but the singing was too much..i mean, i know johnny depp will sing in the movie but that singing was too much. i just can't take it. and movie ends with cliffhanger.. 1. what happened to joanna? 2. what happened to anthony? 3. what about toby? will he be take over sweeney's place? |

Just watched yesterday. Quite a good new combo IMO. Musical + Thriller-ish movie. Never would have thought of the combination

just din cut it for me, all that singing, i bet the movie will be 10x better minus the singing, very generic and repetitive, made me feel as if i'm watchin a hindi flick
