Does anyone knows the proper way to lube 3x3x3 Rubik's Cube???
Anyone tried and it works???

I bought the cube from Toys R Us.......

Bought it 1 week ago, now only know how to solve using layer by layer method and since after I know how to solve it got bored of it already. Cant do layer by layer time attack because my cube bought from toy r us and it's quite stiff.

That's what I'm trying to ask.......
Cause I searched around the web, it's either silicone or petroleum gel those things.......just wanna know which 1 actually works......

i use silicone spray to lube my cube, and its work.very smooth. just need to lube every 2 to 3 weeks if you play it every day. i don't know where to find petroleum gel, so i never use it..smile.gif

Silicone oil is the best lube for cubes. You can get them at Ace or any hardware store. Do not use the WD-40 though, it will ruin your cube.

petroleum jelly will harm your cube, so far it's said that CRC heavy duty silicone spray is the best.


btw, there will be a cubers gathering in penang on 31st May, venue Queensbay mall Mc'D, time 12noon

There's lots of Ace hardware store.. I saw them in Sunway Pyramid, Summit USJ and so on..
Silicone works well on almost all cubes.
